Where To Find Items To Make A Painting In Minecraft

Lets get started with the Sticks first. There are a few ways to collect or craft sticks. First of all you have a chance of getting sticks by breaking leaves from a tree. Another way is to break down the tree and use the wood collected to craft sticks using a crafting table.
Wool
For wool there is only one source and that will be sheep. Sheep although easy to find, can sometimes prove impossible to find when you actually need them.
You may also require shears to shear the wool from the sheep. This is optional as you can also kill the sheep and still have a good chance of it dropping the wool as an item.
The spawn in grassy Biomes at the surface level, usually in a group of 2-3. They require 2 blocks of space above them and also a light source of around 7 and higher. So by heading to grassy areas with lots of space, it will increase your chances of finding a sheep by quite a lot.
They Dont spawn in to Snowy Tundra Biomes or Wooden Badlands Plateau. So dont waste your time looking here.

How To Create A Custom Painting

Step 1: Create a Resource Pack
Before you can begin to create your own Painting, you’ll need to create a resource pack. Resource packs allow you to alter textures, sounds, models, and many other aspects of the game.
Navigate to your “resourcepacks” folder within the “.minecraft” folder. Create a new folder and name it whatever you want. For this example, I named mine “Custom_Paintings.” Within this folder, create a text document named “pack.mcmeta.” It is vital that this is labeled correctly with the .mcmeta extension.
In the text document, type out the following exactly:

Where it says “Custom Paintings” you can label this with whatever you named your folder. Open up Minecraft and navigate to your Resource Packs. These can be found by clicking “Options” and then “Resource Packs” as shown below.
Your custom resource pack should show up on the left side. Click on the triangular arrow on the icon of your resource pack to move it over to the right side under “Selected Resource Packs.”
Once you hit “Done,” your resource pack will be loaded into the game.
Step 2: Finding Your New Painting Image
For my example, I found a 64×64 pixel image on pixelartmaker. You can use a resource like this website to create your own image, or use any image as long as it can be converted into the appropriate ratio.
