Fix Custom Skins For Nintendo Switch

How To Change Skin In Minecraft (Updated) | Minecraft Skin Tutorial

Fix Custom skins for Nintendo switch:

Whenever a player is using a custom skin, for nintendo switch they appear as yellow shirt steves.

hello, welcome to the forums!!

If your skin has custom geometry, the server or minecraft as a whole censors it to Steve. Or if it has some transparent part, even if it is covered by the second layer of the skin, the server still counts it as invisible and hence censors it Please let us know if this is the issue you face or if there is some other issue

No thats not what he is talking about, all custom skins show up like that on nintendo switch, they made it that way because it was causing issues. Unfortunately it doesnt seem like it will change for a while.

Oh okay, i dont know much about consoles and switch but thought he was talking abt the custom skin issue

Was the Only Allow Trusted Skins toggle enabled? If you want to see custom skins, disable that toggle on your in-game profile settings.

However, if the server really does block custom skins on Nintendo Switch even with the toggle disabled, then forget about it.

I can confirm. I play on my Switch and my Xbox. When I put on my custom skin on Switch, Hive Steve, but when I put it on on Xbox, it worked perfectly! I dont know what the problem is but yeah.

Also, welcome to the forums

EDIT: The Only Allow Trusted Skins settings is toggled for me on Switch. Still doesnt work.

    • I bet Sora was added because he shared the same name as Sakurai’s company…Sakurai’s biased.
    • :Also, his Final Smash is underwhelming. Just didn’t seem as cool as other options that could’ve been used – from memory, KH2’s Drive Forms had some pretty epic moves, not to mention the possibility of a team-up Final Smash . Sora could’ve easily teamed up with Riku/Roxas/Donald/Goofy for an epic attack – the latter two are his main partners, but Disney might not want their non-KH characters involved, so that leaves his childhood friend Riku and his Nobody Roxas.
