How to Install a Mod into Minecraft (WINDOWS)

On Windows: do Start / Run / %appdata%, or type %appdata% into the location field of the Windows Explorer then open Minecraft.
On Mac: click on the desktop, press Command+Shift+G, type ~/Library and press enter then open ‘Application Support’ and finally ‘minecraft’.

There Is No Forge Version In The Minecraft Launcher

After have installed Forge with Mod System Installer, you should have a Forge profile in your Minecraft Launcher. What if you don’t have a Forge profile, though?

First things first, try reinstalling Forge with both Minecraft and the Minecraft Launcher closed. Usually, this will fix this issue. If it doesn’t, though, you will need to create a profile for Forge.
