Protecting Your Property From Monsters
Make sure everything is well-lit so mobs dont spawn. Nothing should be more than 8 blocks from a torch. Alternately, cover your floor with blocks that prevent spawning: these include glass, and wooden, stone or cobblestone slabs.
To prevent mobs coming in, use physical barriers. Most mobs are blocked by a fence or a 2-block high wall, the exception being spiders who are good climbers.
Skeletons, zombies and creepers are the same size as the player, , 2 blocks high by 1 block wide, and can fit through doorways. Spiders are 2 blocks wide and only 1 block high, so can fit through different gaps. Cave spiders will fit through a 1×1 gap but are only found in mine shafts. Endermen are 3 blocks high and can be kept out by low ceilings.
This kind of wall can keep almost all mobs out: the overhangs with narrow gaps stop spiders from climbing up. Endermen can teleport through though!

This mod, as you might have guessed, adds rats into the game, and a whole range of new features alongside them. Rats will naturally spawn in the dark and are afraid of players unless infected with the plague or tamed.

Plague rats will automatically attack players and infect nearby rats, but once tamed they are immune to the effects of the disease. Rats can be used to hunt, gather, transport, fight, and help the player carry items. But beware, rats can burrow through dirt and wood and steal food and items directly from chests, so be careful with this mod or you might get more than you bargained for.
How To Kill All Mobs In Minecraft
As stated above, you will just need to type /kill @e to kill everything in the game, including yourself. If you want to prevent yourself from killing additional entities make sure to exclude yourself and other entities from the command by typing type=!player after you type @e. For example /kill @e if you want to save your wolves, armor stands, minecarts, and of course yourself.
With great power comes great responsibility, and it is up to you to prevent yourself from killing any entity that exists in your world. Remember to exclude certain entities/mobs from the command to prevent yourself from killing your companions, decorations, or otherwise.

Creating and customizing files for Minecraft is somewhat technical and can be difficult, and youre sure to encounter a handful of issues while dealing with the hundreds of files within Minecraft. However there are many ways to circumvent these issues. Theres a right tool for every job and while working on your texture pack you will need access to a few programs that will not only help make things easy for you but will also help mitigate issues.
First off you will need a file archiver. Most computer users will already have a file archiver like 7zip or Winrar on their device. The file archiver is a vital software needed to access the many files used in creating texture packs and oftentimes is needed to edit textures, models or sounds.
Normally, a IDE would be the most important thing when it comes to making a add-on, but in this instance we will be using MCreator to do all the hard work for us. Thisll also give us the added benefit of skipping through all the complicated coding and syntax and skip straight to just the details of what our mob looks like and how it behaves.
Finally if you are planning on editing textures or creating new textures for your new mob, the most important program youll need is an image editor. You can technically use any editor that supports transparency, we would recommend for you to use BlockBench as it officially supports Minecraft textures and it has a simple layout and also provides a visual 3-D model while you edit your textures.
/13 Animania Extra Animals: Realistic Farm Animals

Animania Extra Animals adds hedgehogs, peacocks and peafowl, ferrets, hamsters, and three types of amphibians to the game. Both the peacocks/peafowl and amphibians cannot be tamed, but peafowls can be bred in the same way you would breed chickens with Animania Farm, using a nest.
Hedgehogs, ferrets and hamster can be tamed, however, they cannot be bred and must be obtained from their natural habitats. You can also craft a hamster ball and hamster wheel for your hamsters to use, with the hamster wheel even acting as a power source for many technology-based mods.

How To Use Your Mob Farm
There’s a good chance that mobs have already started appearing in your spawner room. Wait at least five minutes, then climb down from your AFK room and head back to the very bottom of the mob farm.
If you built it correctly and waited long enough, you’ll find multiple enemies stuck together on top of the stone slabs. You’ll just barely be able to see them only their legs should be visible.
Once you’ve gathered enough enemies, swing a weapon at their legs to kill them. They should only take one or two hits each.
The mobs will drop XP orbs for you to collect, and their other drops will get sucked into the treasure chests below. Feel free to open the chests and retrieve the drops whenever you want.
Head back up to your AFK room and repeat this process for as long as you want.

Another mod that is great for enhancing the vanilla experience, Exotic Birds adds over 30 new birds, with each bird adding multiple species, bringing over 100 unique birds to the game in total.
Bird nests generate naturally atop trees in every biome and act as storage that can contain up to three eggs. Some eggs will be labelled as a specific species of bird, while others will be labelled as unidentified eggs which must be examined using an Egg Analyzer. Like normal chicken eggs, identified eggs can be thrown on the ground to hatch them, with the spawn chance listed as a percentage when hovering the cursor over an egg.

Blockbench itself is a 3D modeling program with native support for many Minecraft 3D model formats. The Entity Wizard is a plugin for Blockbench that can be installed through the built-in plugin store. Once you have created your basic entity in the Entity Wizard, you can continue to use Blockbench to modify the model, and you can edit the behavior in an external program .
To give you a starting point, the Entity Wizard offers most of Minecraft’s vanilla mobs as presets. You can choose the one that is closest to the mob you want to create. For example, if you want to create a shark, choose the dolphin preset. There are also stripped down “basic” presets that you can use if you are a more experienced addon creator and you want to build your behavior from scratch.
