Two More Lego Minecraft 2022 Sets Unveiled At Lego Con
The LEGO Con 2022 reveal train has no brakes, or something to that effect. We got plenty of neat set reveals in June 18. Among them were notable anniversary milestone entries. Earlier we touched on two 90th anniversary LEGO sets joining the Icons theme. But this year also marks a decade since LEGO Ideas released a set for hit videogame franchise Minecraft. Collectors got to see this one-off item birth a popular LEGO product line of its own. And while some entries for the theme have already released earlier this year, there are still more.
According to Brickset, two more LEGO Minecraft sets saw the light of day at LEGO Con last Saturday. These ones fill out the set number list we caught back in February. In most aspects of Life its the smaller things that tend to be missed or skipped over in favour of bigger or better things. The same can be said for LEGO sets, this one nearly passed me by entirely!
If it wasnt for a quick midnight browse on Amazon I still wouldnt of know this existed. I like to think Im somewhat clued-up on LEGO releases, especially the new 2021 sets, perhaps it was the overwhelming number of new releases announced that this little hen slipped through the net.

Lego Minecraft Brickheadz 40624 Alex
Surprisingly, LEGO has only ever produced 1 Minecraft-themed BrickHeadz set.
LEGO BrickHeadz Minecraft 41612 Steve & Creeper was a double BrickHeadz set released on August 1st, 2018.
The set was only 160 pieces, making it one of the smallest double sets in the LEGO BrickHeadz collection.
However, for Minecraft fans, the set was a must-have.
Considering how compatible LEGO and Minecraft are as concepts, fans thought it odd that there has only been 1 Minecraft BrickHeadz set.
Many monsters, characters, and mods would make effective, fun BrickHeadz builds.
Yet there has not been even a whisper of future Minecraft BrickHeadz since 2018. Until now.
Around the same time that LEGO uploaded the LEGO Minecraft 21240 The Swamp Adventure to the Building Instructions Portal database, three new Minecraft BrickHeadz were also added.
One of these was LEGO Minecraft BrickHeadz 20624 Alex.
For those unfamiliar with Minecraft, Alex is one of the two protagonists in the game. The other is Steve.
Players can pick which skin they want to use when creating a Minecraft account. This is how they then appear in the game.
