Advanced Protection and Advanced Mending are both simply better variants than their vanilla counterparts. Advanced Protection is INCREDIBLY rare so if you see it hold on to it until you have a good set of gear to put it on! Ive only found Advanced Mending from villager trades.

Advanced and Burning Thorns is down to preference. If youre going for an Ash Destroyer weapon build then go Burning Thorns. Otherwise I tend to split it two and two with Burning Thorns on chest and head.

Unbreaking is a little unnecessary as the Advanced Mending will keep it as essentially 100% all of the time. Might as well throw it on there though

How To Enchant Armor

• Frost Walker – This enchantment is incompatible with Depth Strider, and unless you’re planning on spending the majority of your time in icy biomes, it just won’t be as useful.
• Soul Speed – Like Frost Walker, this enchantment is really only useful if you’re going to spend a ton of time in the Nether, and the fact that it damages your boots over time just makes it too much of a headache to worry about.
• Thorns – The same goes for Thorns. This enchantment reflects damage back at your enemies, but at the cost of armor durability, and without doing enough damage to make it worthwhile.

Crafting An Iron Armor Set

Iron armor is a great, basic armor set in Minecraft. It is generally the most common set to have mid-game just before finding diamonds. It gives decent protection and isn’t too expensive to craft as each piece needs to be made with iron ingots. The iron itself is found pretty frequently in caves. Bastion Remnants, End Cities, and Woodland Mansions are the top locations where pieces of a diamond armor set can be found in loot chests, End Cities having the highest chance. Making Netherite Armor In Minecraft

There are a few distinctions between Netherite armor and others. The rest of them can be acquired from the overworld and Netherite can’t, plus it requires a few materials to craft.

Still, the biggest difference is that Netherite armor isn’t crafted out of Netherite ingots. Diamonds make diamond armor, iron ingots make iron armor, but Netherite ingots do not make Netherite armor.

Instead, it is used to upgrade existing armor. Diamond, to be exact. Players will need to have diamond armor before upgrading it to Netherite. In order to find diamonds, players will need to go mining, with Y levels 11 and 12 the current best places to find them. 24 diamonds are necessary for one full set of armor.

Once players have a full diamond armor, they can upgrade it using Netherite ingots. Netherite ingots are crafted with four gold ingots and four ancient scraps. Ancient scraps are acquired by smelting Ancient Debris, which can only be found in the Nether.

Ancient Debris is pretty difficult to find, especially in bulk. Mining anywhere from Y level 8-22 is a pretty good bet, with 15 being considered the best level to look at. Within one chunk there is usually no more than one or two blocks of Ancient Debris. A chunk can have up to five, but usually doesn’t.

Best Nether Enchantments In Minecraft

These enchantments are essential if you want to go into the Nether, especially if you’re expecting a fight!

• Fire Protection: Fire Protection reduces the damage you take from all sources of heat . Since the Nether has lava and fire everywhere, this is a necessary enchantment to stay protected.
• Soul Speed: You can only put this enchant on your boots. When applied, it increases the speed at which you walk on Soul Sand. However, when you run on Soul Sand with boots enchanted with Soul Speed, it decreases the boots’ durability. It’s strongly recommended that you use Mending or Unbreakable on Boots enchanted with Soul Speed.
• Feather Falling: Feather Falling was mentioned above as one of the best enchantments for Boots, and it especially applies to the Nether. In some of the Nether Biomes released in 1.16, there are many steep cliffs and deep chasms. This makes Feather Falling an essential enchantment for the Nether since it protects you from taking excessive damage if you accidentally fall.
• Knockback: Knockback is crucial if you plan to go exploring the more dangerous parts of the Nether, especially Fortresses. This is more of a preventative measure than a tool. It helps put distance between you and any mobs, and can be lifesaving if you find yourself with low health while fending off mobs!
