How Do I Install A Modpack On My Server
You can follow the steps below to upload a custom modpack to the server.
Step 1. Download and extract the server version of the modpack of your choice.
Note: If you see files named FBinstall.bat or ServerSetup.jar, run those files and wait for the required files to be downloaded before proceeding.
Step 2. Delete any .bat and .sh files.
Step 3. Verify that you have the forge and minecraft-server .jar files. If you do, rename the forge .jar to custom.jar.
Step 4. Use an FTP server to upload the modpack folder to your server. If you havent connected an FTP to your server yet, you can find the tutorial here.
Step 5. Log into your Multicraft Panel.
Step 6.Stop your server.
Step 7. Click Open JAR Menu.
Step 8. Go to the Custom tab and enable Custom .jar.
Step 9.Save and restart server.
Note: If you are using a modpack that is older than 1.7.10 Minecraft , instead of remaining the Forge jar file to custom.jar, you have to rename it to customjava7.jar. On the control panel JAR menu, select Custom Java 7.

This may seem like a silly question to most, but i’m lost in this after searching on the forums and on google for so many times, so i’d appreciate any help here to this lost sheep trying to play a modpack.
I can confirm I have put the modpack into %appdata%\roaming\.minecraft\mods.
Normal mods files work.
I have tried changing the file extension for the modpack .zip files to .jar.
What am i doing wrong here? Every single mod-installing guide i have found only depicts installing mod jar files, and not modpack zip files.
Of course I have noticed the file size for modpack isn’t quite what I’ve expected. Do i have to download every single mod that a modpack is asking for?

A modpack doesnt work the way a mod works. It’s not a mod, its more of a new Minecraft instance. I’d take it out of your mods folder, then put it in .Roaming or .minecraft, or even your desktop.
– Make sure you have the proper Forge version for your modpack.
– Open the minecraft launcher
– add a new instance, select the version , etc.
– change the game directory to the address of your .zip file.
– press save, and play

How To Install Mods For Windows 10 Minecraft
To download and install mods for Windows 10 Minecraft, you can either purchase and download addons from the Minecraft Marketplace or download mods online like with Java Minecraft mods.
First, let’s explain how to download and install mods for Windows 10 Minecraft before we begin, please note that you will have to find mods made for the Windows 10 version of Minecraft and not Java mods.

There are also several mod launchers out there on the web, but in this guide, we recommend using the Cruse Forge app, as it is the easiest to grasp out of the bunch. To start, head on over to Cruse Forge to download the latest version of their PC app, wait for it to download, and then double click the installer.

The application will then ask you where you would like to install the program, pick a spot, and then let it install. Once installed, you will then be taken on a mini-tour of all the application’s features feel to skip this with the option to do so.

If youre an update behind and still want to play, you need to download the mod corresponding to your version. For example, if youre on 1.5.1, your mod has to be built for 1.5.1 as well.
