If you have a gaming PC, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, you can download and play the highly-anticipated Halo Infinite right now. If you’re wanting to play on an Xbox One or an Xbox Series X|S, you can access Halo Infinite through either the Microsoft Store or Game Pass. If you go via the Microsoft Store, you’ll see that the game’s multiplayer and campaign are split into two separate downloads. The campaign launches on Dec. 8 and can be preordered for $60. The multiplayer is free to download now.

If you’re going through Game Pass, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer beta can be downloaded like any other Game Pass game. You can’t miss it, since it’s plastered all over the service’s home page at the moment. Note that the Halo Infinite campaign that’ll cost $60 will come to Game Pass for free on Dec. 8.

Mojang Studios isn’t known for leaving a game alone, however, and released a multitude of updates and paid DLC expansions for its title in the months following launch, including over a dozen updates, featuring six premium expansions, which means Minecraft Dungeons is a significantly larger game than it was at launch. I’ve already explored in-depth why I believe Minecraft is the greatest game ever made, and Minecraft Dungeons was certainly a part of that discussion, especially when it comes to Xbox games.
“We had a lot of plans for things that we’d like to get out… especially bringing more content to players,” said Olson. “So with all the DLCs, we’ve released free content that we think does a good job of complementing the base game experience.”

Minecraft Dungeons Is Now Available On Steam
Minecraft Dungeons, essentially a “baby’s first Diablo-like” that shares its setting with Mojang’s popular sandbox game, was exclusive to the Microsoft Store when it launched in 2020. It’s now arrived on Steam, coinciding with the release of the Ultimate Edition, which combines the base game with its six DLC add-onsJungle Awakens, Creeping Winter, Howling Peaks, Flames of the Nether, Hidden Depths, and Echoing Voidas well as the soundtrack and digital artwork. Of course, you could just play it on Game Pass instead.
Though it doesn’t have crafting, or indeed mining, Minecraft Dungeons does tie into the Minecraft lore, setting you up against the Arch-Illager to destroy the Orb of Dominance and become the hero of the Overworld. It also features four-player co-op and, as of November last year, cross-platform play for the PC, Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions.
Rachael Watts gave it a solid 75 in her review. “Minecraft Dungeons is the perfect introduction to dungeon crawlers for beginners and a breezy adventure for veterans”, she wrote. “It doesn’t have anything in particular that makes it stand out, but it’s a fun, streamlined take on the dungeon crawl genre.”
What Are The Other Elements You Can Find On The Statistics Tab
The Statistics tab not only show you the total time spent in each of the different worlds on the Minecraft game, but also provide you access to a host of other data. Most of these queries that the Statistics menu provides you access to a huge number of How many and How much.
Some of the questions you can find it answering can include
- How many times you have saved and quit the game?
- How long it has been since you died in the game?
- How many times have you jumped in the game?
- How many times have you used a shield to block the damage?
- Total distance covered in sprinting, falling, or crouching?
- How many times have you died in the game?
There can be several other questions that this can answer. In essence, you can make use of the data to compare your performance with other players.

How To Open The Statistics Tab
You can find the Statistics tab by following these simple steps:
Once here, you can click through these options to view various stats and information related to your Minecraft account.
The first category is called General. It contains information about how many times youve completed different activities.
The second category, named Blocks, shows you how many times youve crafted, used, or mined a block.
The Items shows how many times youve depleted, crafted, picked up, dropped, or used different items, such as an iron shovel, a pickaxe, a bow, a sword, etc.
The fourth and final category is named Mobs. It shows you how many times youve killed a spider, a skeleton, a zombie, a creeper, etc.

“Steam is a very interesting platform in that it’s a very big one,” Nisshagen said. “It’s especially big in Sweden, or in Scandanavia, so it’s almost seen as a little bit of the natural state. A game should be on Steam, so we’re super happy to be able to bring Dungeons there.”
Minecraft Dungeons, of course, was already available on PC through the Microsoft Store and Mojang Studios’ own launcher, which can also be used to play Minecraft: Java Edition. However, a huge number of PC gamers practically play exclusively through Steam, which is by far the largest singular platform for purchasing and playing PC games in many parts of the world. Minecraft Dungeons is the latest Microsoft game to arrive on Steam, alongside titles like Halo: The Master Chief Collection, meaning the game is about to be exposed to a brand-new pool of potential players.
I asked Nisshagen and Olson about their experience with porting Minecraft Dungeons to Steam, and fortunately, it seemed like a relatively painless process. Between Minecraft Dungeons already being available through Mojang’s PC launcher , Steam’s support, and Mojang’s own experience with supporting games on multiple platforms, bringing Minecraft Dungeons to Steam was straightforward. One thing that was important to Mojang, however, was ensuring the experience on Steam matched the experience everywhere else.

What Will The Minecraft Dungeons Steam Release Bring
The Minecraft Dungeons Steam is getting will be pretty much the same as the Xbox and Microsoft Store versions, albeit with some tweaks in terms of how you can actually buy it. Two versions of Minecraft Dungeons will be available via Steam: the regular edition and the Ultimate Edition. The former will set you back $19.99 and will consist only of the base game, while the Ultimate Edition packs in all six DLCs plus some lovely arty extras and a soundtrack. That version will cost $39.99.

When Minecraft Dungeons does arrive on Steam, the team will be discontinuing some of the versions of the game previously on sale. The Hero Edition, the Hero Pass, and the Minecraft Dungeons Season Pass will all be retired from sale on August 31st. Physical versions will be available until stock depletes, after which point there wont be any more copies of those versions. However, if youre a physical kind of player, dont worry. There will be a physical version of the Minecraft Dungeons Ultimate Edition for you to buy, and itll set you back just as much as the digital one.
Mojang Releases New Non
You most likely know Mojang as the small, Swedish developer behind the mega-popular Minecraft, as well as now being owned Microsoft. However, that doesnt mean Minecraft is the only thing its employees work on. The latest side project, so to speak, has just been announced, and its already available to play now! Its called Crown and Council, and has been described as a fast-paced strategy game.
The game uses a 16-bit-era pixellated style, and features gameplay that isnt that different from Civilization or Risk. In Crown and Council, the goal is to conquer the surrounding land, expand your empire, and in turn defeat rival monarchs. Players must earn gold to fund the growth of their armies, make expeditions into adjacent land, and set up defensive and attacking positions.
While the game is fast and simple to play, its still challenging to win. Making moves like building universities could pay-off in the long-run with improved strategies, but trying to grab up as much land as possible in the early game could also provide an early advantage.
Similar to how Minecraft was the pet project of Markus Notch Persson, Crown and Council was created by a single Mojang employee: Henrik Pettersson.
The best part is that the new game is completely free, and is available now on Steam. The required system specs are incredibly modest, and only 300MB of space is needed.

Microsoft has announced that Minecraft Dungeons is launching on Steam on September 22. The game will be available in Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition on Steam.
Minecraft Dungeons Standard Edition will come with the base game and it is priced at $19.99 USD . Minecraft Dungeons Ultimate Edition features the base game, all six DLCs, soundtrack of the entire game and DLCs, and hi-res digital artwork for each DLC.
