What Time Will The Minecraft Update Come Out

Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Part 2 News & Updates: Everything We Know

When Will Minecraft 1.17 Come Out For Bedrock?

The Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Part 1 update comes on June 8 and players shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to also get their hands on Part 2.

Mojang announced on May 31 that the long-awaited Caves & Cliffs update for Minecraft is coming on June 8. That’s great news for fans of the mega-popular sandbox title, but many want to know when to expect the anticipated Part 2 of the Caves & Cliffs update. Originally, Minecraft Caves & Cliffs was meant to be a unified release. However, in April 2021, the team at Mojang made the decision to delay the update and split it into two parts. The decision was made due to a combination of the update’s size and the difficulty of developing a game during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Given how many other games have been delayed because of complications around the pandemic, the news wasn’t too surprising. At the time, Mojang announced Part 1 of the update would come during summer 2021 and Part 2 would hit some time during holiday 2021. Of course, it’s now known that summer means June 8, but Mojang still hasn’t given a clear idea of when Part 2 will release.

Minecraft 1171 Update Expected Release Date And Time

On June 8th, Mojang released the first part of Minecraft Caves and Cliffs update. Even though developers have not added any new biomes, the update is still pretty huge.

The Minecraft 1.17 update introduced over 100 new blocks and items, much more than the nether update of last year. The first phase of Caves and Cliffs also added cute axolotls, glow axolotls, bleating goats, magical amethyst shards, and more. With so much new content, it is expected that some bugs will slip in.

After every major update, Mojang releases a minor update to fix bugs added in that update. The 1.17.1 update is ready to fix the bugs added in the 1.17 update.

Minecraft: The Wild Update Announced At Minecraft Live

Minecraft’s big 2022 update will add new mechanics, as well as some that were meant for a previous update.

It’s been an eventful Minecraft Live show, but as the end approached, only one piece of business remained. It was time to go into more detail on Minecraft’s next major update after the Caves & Cliffs: Part 2, which is taking Minecraft into the wilderness with the Wild Update.

As one might expect from a sizable update such as this, the Wild Update will add a slew of new content to Minecraft. The update will largely center around plant life, a lot of which players can find in Minecraft’s latest biome, the Mangrove Swamp. Mangroves will be plentiful in this area, which players can use to climb or harvest for other resources. The swamp itself will feature marshlands, lily pads, fireflies, tadpoles, and much more.

Crafters will want to keep an eye out for mud blocks. While those are abundant in swamp biomes, it’s also possible to simply add water to dirt to make your own. Mud can be used on its own, but crafters can also use it to create clay.

The Wild Update will also contain bits and pieces from what would have been the Deep Dark update. This includes a terrifying Deep Dark biome, which hides rare resources, ancient cities, and a lot of danger. The Warden hides within the depths of the Deep Dark and will hunt players down by detecting sound vibrations.

Update 1.17 may be behind us, as Minecraft Caves and Cliffs will now be split into two separate updates in 2021.

The Minecraft Caves and Cliffs release date will now be split into two – with the first part releasing on June 8th, and the second dropping around the holiday season.

Fans were ready for another long wait after the Nether Update, but it looks like we may be reaching the light at the end of the tunnel!

Minecraft 117 Beta Release Date

Minecraft

If you own the Bedrock edition of Minecraft, you can now play the beta, although only the first phase of new features are available including goats and the powdery snow. Find out how to play Minecraft Beta snapshots in both Java and Bedrock editions, by following the steps outlined in our guide.

There are important differences between both versions, and it seems that the Java edition is slightly ahead. A recent update is the Caves & Cliffs snapshot 21w14a, that makes important changes to iron, copper, and gold. Now these blocks generate raw minerals when mined, putting it in line with coal and diamonds. If youre a purist and like how the ore blocks look, you can still collect the ore blocks by using the Silk Touch Minecraft enchantments.

Snapshot 21w06a introduced the brand new cave system so you can now explore those cheese and spaghetti caves yourself, and go diving for Minecraft diamond in an aquifer. Previous snapshots added Minecraft copper, bundles, powder snow, lush cave blocks, glow squids, axolotls, and dripstone caves.

And that is everything we know about the upcoming Minecraft Caves & Cliffs update. Some exciting new areas to explore and one terrifying monster to face. Its certainly best to come in prepared, even if Netherite weapons and armour dont do much against wardens.

When Will The Update Go Live

Minecraft has not said exactly what time the update will become available.

If we go by previous patches, 3pm UK time is a good bet but its worth keeping an eye on its social media channels.

The update will be available for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows 10, and Java Edition on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Bundle: New Backpack Item

Finally, a lovely new quality of life feature: Minecraft 1.18 is bringing us backpacks! Except they’re not called backpacks, they’re called Bundles, and they work in a different way than you’d expect.

You can make a Bundle out of 2 String and 6 Rabbit Hide, and clicking on one in your inventory opens up a miniature secondary inventory space of 6 slots. However: the Bundle doesn’t increase the total amount you can hold in the slot: it simply allows you to hold different kinds of items in a single slot.

For example: you’ll be able to hold 32 Dirt and 32 Stone in a Bundle, but you can’t hold 64 Dirt and 64 Stone in the Bundle because you’re still constrained by the single slot’s stack limit . So it’s not as useful as the Backpacks created by various Minecraft mods, but you can also understand why Mojang wouldn’t want to give us effectively limitless storage space inside our inventories.

That’s a wrap on the main features and details of Minecraft’s upcoming 1.18 update. Until then, the best way to change up the look of your world and inject that sense of discovery back into the game is to install one of the best Minecraft texture packs. Or, if you want an entirely different experience from your regular singleplayer world, why not check out one of the many great Minecraft servers available right now?

Minecraft : New And Updated Cave Biomes

Caves, in general, will get a complete overhaul, giving them more room to generate and fit in with the new individual biomes. Many caves will contain aquifers or bodies of water independent of sea level, and deepslate will replace stone from Y=0 to Y=-7. Additionally, three new types of noise caves will be introduced:

  • Cheese caves: Huge caves containing aquifers and ore.
  • Spaghetti caves: These are long and thin and may have small aquifers.
  • Noodle caves: Similar to Spaghetti caves but much smaller.

  • Amethyst geodes found in caves

Release Date And Time

Mojang has announced the release date for the Minecraft 1.17.1 update. A minor bug fix update is set to be released on Tuesday, July 6th. However, it may get delayed if a critical bug is found and developers already have a release candidate for the 1.17 update.

If no major bug is discovered, the update will be released as planned on Tuesday. Like the 1.17 update, it is expected to be released around 8:00 AM PST.

When Is Minecraft The Wild Update Released

Although Minecraft The Wild update was announced at the Minecraft Live show on October 16, 2021, you’re going to need to be patient and wait a little while before you can try it out for yourself. Currently all we know about Minecraft 1.19 is that it will be arriving some time in 2022, though as soon as any further information is announced we will post an update here.

The Road To Caves & Cliffs

Minecraft is a global phenomenon of a game, and continues to grow and evolve year over year. Back at Minecon 2019, Mojang Studios laid out a busy year for their open-world survival sandbox with two updates: the minor and adorable Buzzy Bees Update, followed by the absolutely massive and disruptive Nether Update. This followed a traditional tick/tock update cadence where Mojang Studios rotated between smaller and larger releases.

During Minecon 2019, Mojang Studios also held a vote that let the community decide which popular biome would receive an overhaul next. The mountain biome won, and Minecrafters assumed that this would be one of the two updates slated for 2020. At Minecraft Live 2020, Mojang Studios both confirmed this speculation and shirked expectations with the announcement of the incredibly ambitious Caves & Cliffs Update.

Instead of releasing two smaller updates throughout the year, Mojang Studios decided to combine two releases into one mega update. The Caves & Cliffs Update will deliver the promised makeover for the mountain biome while also completely overhauling the classic but outdated mining experience in Minecraft. Because of the aspirations of the Caves & Cliffs Update for Minecraft, however, Mojang Studios needs extra time to make it all happen.

Unfortunately, this ambitious plan hasn’t panned out for Mojang Studios, as the Caves & Cliffs Update has been split into two pieces spread out over the rest of 2021.

What Time Does Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Start Release Date For 117 Update

When is the release date for Minecraft

Fans will be able to play Minecraft Caves and Cliffs Part 1, which will be part of Minecraft update 1.17, on June 8.

Unlike other games where updates are released at a different time depending on the region, everyone will be able to play Minecraft Caves and Cliffs Part 1 on June 8.

However, there’s no specific time as yet for when the update will be released across all platforms. Based on previous updates we suspect that it could arrive at around 3pm BST. This is when past updates have released, but who’s to say Mojang might roll it out much later in the day to suit all timezones.

Knowing that Minecraft 1.17 will come with the first part of Caves and Cliffs is a pretty big deal for fans, though many of us were a bit surprised to know that the second part will be coming later.

Players wont be able to get their hands on Minecraft 1.18, which will come with Caves and Cliffs Part 2, till much later this year closer to October or December so heres hoping the first part has a ton of updates.

Minecraft is now available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Minecraft

As far as the release time is concerned, unfortunately, weve not been given the official time.

However, we do have a fair idea about it, thanks to some of the recent Snapshots. Usually, the developers release snapshots around 3 PM GMT, so players can expect the Caves and Cliffs Update to drop roughly around the same time. If they announce a release time before that, we will be updating the article with the necessary details so keep checking back!

When Is The Minecraft 117 Update Coming Out

Minecraft has not only been a game that has stood the test of time, but one that has dominated the gaming industry for a little more than a decade. To become the second-best-selling game of all-time is no minor feat, but Minecraft has also managed to stay culturally relevant, which is an even more significant achievement.

The way Minecraft keeps its audience engaged is through introducing new updates that change the game just about enough to keep things fresh. While these updates don’t change the core gameplay, they add several new things that freshen up the in-game experience.

During Minecraft Live 2020, Mojang revealed that a new “Caves and Cliffs” update, 1.17, will be available for download in mid-2021. Fans are now excited about everything new that this update will bring to the game.

When Will The Update Be Released

The first part of the Caves & Cliffs update will be released Tuesday 8 June.

While a specific time has not yet been revealed for when everything will be going live, it is expected to be released at around 3pm BST, based on when previous patches and updates have been released.

In order to give players the best update possible, Minecraft announced that it would be splitting Caves & Cliffs into two parts.

In the FAQ section of the Minecraft website explains: To ship the full Caves & Cliffs update as planned this would have required asking our team to work overtime, and even then we may not have been able to guarantee the high level of polish our players expect.

By taking more time to deliver the update, we can confidently deliver the first part of Caves & Cliffs this summer, with the second part releasing this holiday season.

This was not an easy decision but it is the best path to ensure our team stays healthy, happy, and able to deliver awesome updates for many years to come.

A specific date has not yet been set for the second half of the update, just that it has been planned for release around the holiday season, which could be any time from October to December.
