Off Hand In Minecraft Bedrock
You can access the off-hand slot on this version of Minecraft by opening up the in-game inventory. After the inventory display pops up, look for the empty slot with a small shield drawing on the right side of the characters image.
If you place an item on that slot, your character will hold that item in his left hand while bearing the primary on the right hand.
However, in Bedrock Edition, you can place a specific list of items on the off-hand slot as opposed to Java, where any object can go into the segment.
The items you can place on the off-hand slot in bedrock edition are few, and they mostly fit the weapon category. For starters, the steel shield can go there, working similarly to the Java edition.
You can also place arrows and buffed arrows, such as the arrow of harming on the left-hand slot. Still, one of the most valuable things one can do by placing an arrow in said section is to carry a crossbow in the primary hand. This way, youll be able to switch between arrows and optimize the use of ammunition in ranged combat.
Unfortunately, you cannot see the off-hand slot on the Bedrock Edition if you dont have the inventory open. So, while playing, youll only be able to see the nine items in your quick inventory.
Among other items you can place into the off-hand slot of Minecraft Bedrock are firework rockets, maps, nautilus shells, and totem of undying.
Resetting The End In Bukkit / Spigot / Paper
- Follow steps 1-5 from the steps for resetting the nether in Vanilla.
- Select the “world_the_end” folder by ticking the checkbox to the left of it , and then press “Delete”.
- Confirm the file/folder to delete and click Submit to proceed. Remember that you cannot undo this action so be sure that you are deleting the correct files and folders.
- Navigate back to your server control panel, and start your server again.
That’s it! Your End world should now be reset on your Minecraft Server.
If you wish to reset the Nether, rather than the End, simply delete the file “DIM-1”, rather than “DIM1” for Vanilla Servers, and delete “world_nether”, rather than “world_the_end” for Bukkit/Spigot/Paper servers.

How To Reset Chunks In Minecraft
Sometimes you may want to have certain parts of your Minecraft world completely reset so you can start afresh. This can be desirable if your world has become too big and laggy, or if the file size has become too much for your system storage. Otherwise, maybe theres a new update on the way, and you simply want those beautiful new biomes closer to your house. In a situation such as this, your best bet is to reset some chunks in your Minecraft world completely.
Do note that unlike reloading chunks, which only loads up the same chunk from memory, resetting chunks in Minecraft will completely clear any player-made modifications within those chunks. Then, once you load up the world again, chunks will be reverted to their original state. This also means that resetting chunks where no modifications were made will not have any effect. It is also important to make a backup of your world folder before making any changes in it, since the changes are irreversible.
Chunks can be reset in both Minecraft Java and Bedrock versions, including Pocket Edition. However, you will need a computer since this method requires the use of third-party software.

How To Reset The Nether In Minecraft Java Edition
Java players do have the ability to reset their Nether, but you’ll have to use an external tool to do the deed.
MCA Selector is the Java community’s primary tool for singling out large sections of a world and deleting or resetting it. Actually using MCA Selector seems unwieldy, but after a few tests you should be able to use it at your discretion.
The above GitHub page goes over how to use MCA Selector, and links to a couple of helpful videos. Watch this one below to further understand this tool and how to use it to get your Java world ready for 1.16.
In addition to the above video, read these tips directly from the tool developer for preparing your Nether for Minecraft 1.16.

How To Disable The Nether
Unlike the End, the default version does allow you to disable the Nether. Any server can follow the instructions below to toggle that dimension off.
If you want to revert those changes, then follow up to step 3 but make sure its enabled, not disabled. From there you can proceed to the final step to apply the changes.
The process will differ on modded servers since there is no file to toggle the Nether dimension. You would need to install a mod to get that control. There are two mods, one for Forge and the other for Fabric. You can review the process for installing them here.
Other Quick Ways To Fix Chunks Issues
If you are experiencing other Chunks related issues, you could try the following solutions:
- Decrease Render Distance . If your computer is not top of the line, decreasing Render Distance will alleviate the stress on your poor machine. This way you will see less Chunks, but they will load almost instantly.
- Removeunnecessary shader mods. Sometimes some shader mods cause problems related to Chunk loading. Try to remove them and see if it helps.

Delete The Nether Chunks
Now, if theres nothing you want to save inside your previously explored Nether, go ahead and delete them all. This will reset your Nether completely.
If there are things you absolutely do want to save, you will have to get the lay of the land by identifying in-game the regions you want to save. MCC ToolChest does not show you a list of individual structures or other data its just a pretty simple overview of generated chunks. Head in-game, keep an eye on coordinates, and take note of areas you want to save and cross-reference them with your map. You can drag to select areas on the map to delete.
Once youve selected the areas for deletion, go ahead and click delete. You have now reset the Nether.
But were not done. Not yet.
What Are Chunks In Minecraft
Chunks are clusters of blocks that act as the basis for your Minecraft world. They take up a space of 16 by 16 blocks horizontally, and 256 blocks vertically. This gives them a total size of 65,536 blocks.
Chunks are loaded every time you boot up your Minecraft world. Moreover, depending on your render distance, only the chunks in a certain vicinity are loaded at any given time. Additional chunks are loaded in as your player traverses the world.

What Is The Nether Update
![[Bedrock] [Survival] How can I reset this t](https://img.minecraftfanclub.net/wp-content/uploads/bedrock-survival-how-can-i-reset-this-t-flip-flop.jpeg)
The Nether Update is one of the most highly anticipated updates to Minecraft, bringing with it a whole slew of new features to the dark world of the Nether. New blocks, mobs, items, structures and biomes and the Soul Speed enchantment theres a lot of newness.
That said, the Nether itself isnt anything new. Players have been exploring and building in the Nether for quite some time and therein lies a problem. Many players are worried that either the new Nether update will wipe everything theyve created in their Nether-regions or they wont be able to enjoy the new features because theyve already loaded it up. Fortunately, neither is true.
