Java edition comes with all the mods and new features with the original download but in Windows 10 edition you have to download the mods and new textures separately for free. Therefore, the original file size of Java Edition is more than the Windows 10 edition.
The Image and Graphics quality of Java edition is best followed by Windows 10 edition. The Java Edition of Minecraft is more resource-intensive than the Bedrock edition and Windows 10 edition.

Since Minecraft has no built-in options to convert the worlds from Bedrock to Java, we are going to use a free software called MCCToolChest. This tool allows you to modify the bedrock levels and even convert them as needed.
1. First, go to the Minecraft save folder, find the world folder and copy it to desktop. You see the world name in the levelname.txt file inside the world folder.
2. Download MCCToolChest PE and install it like any other Windows application. After installing, open the application from the Start Menu or by double-clicking on the desktop icon.
3. After opening the application, drag and drop the Minecraft world folder into the application window. This action will import the world. This is how it should look like.
4. Now, select Tools Convert To Java from the top navigation bar.
5. The above action will open the conversion window. Here, click on the Browse button and select a folder where you want to store the converted world. In my case, Im selecting New Folder on the desktop. You can always rename and move this folder to the actual Java save location.
Once you are done with the settings, click on the Convert button.
6. Depending on how big your world is, it can take some time.
7. Once the conversion is complete, you will see the Conversion Completed prompt. Click Close to close the window.
8. Open the destination folder to see the converted world files.

Minecraft Mods And Other Add
The Java Edition has more add-ons and mods available than Bedrock, for a couple of reasons. For one thing, it’s been around longer so it’s had more time for these extras to build up.
But more importantly, anyone with the necessary skills can mod the Java version. Because the Bedrock Editions are more locked down through the various platforms’ app stores, creating add-ons and mods isn’t easily done. These things are only offered through the official Minecraft Marketplace.

At the time of writing, the Minecraft Bedrock Edition encounters errors when loading a converted world, unless you use MCASelector. This tool enables you to manually delete troublesome chunks containing water, bubble columns, smooth stone, Redstone Links and Nether Portal Links, en masse, saving you from having to manually re-edit those aspects of your world in Bedrock.
The process is quick and easy, and void spaces will auto-populate with the correct Bedrock-specific chunks when converted, though you may wish to manually tweak or update certain aspects once in-game.
As always, it is recommended you keep a backup of your Java world before you begin.
1. Right click on mcaselector-1.9.3.jar, or a newer version, and Open With Java

They’re Still Very Different Games But They’re Closer Than Ever
Despite the desire for Minecraft to become a unified game across platforms, Mojang still actively develops and refines the Java Edition separately from the Bedrock Edition. The list of differences between the two varies massively from big pain points like support for mods or any number of minuscule differences like how many “inventory” spaces a piglinhas, or how many of certain items you might get in a chest somewhere.
It stretches on for miles, and from the player’s standpoint, it’s hard to see just how big the gap is, only that, for some reason, the Bedrock and Java Editions still play, look, and feel different from each other. We could dedicate an entire 10,000-word article just listing the thousands of tiny differences between the versions, but why do these differences exist, and why does Mojang bother to invest in both?
Mojang can’t abandon one version without seriously harming the Minecraft community.
That’s because both versions do things the other simply cannot. The Java Edition’s older foundations would run terribly on lower-powered hardware even with serious optimizations and isn’t flexible enough to mold to restrictive touch inputs or switch between multiple inputs quickly. Alternatively, the Bedrock Edition’s more modern and streamlined base means it’s less open to modifications, and it loses the focus of some of Minecraft’s more hardcore players.
