What ore gives the most exp in minecraft

From smelting any of various items.Smelting any ore yields some experience, but normally only iron, gold, nether gold, and ancient debris are worthwhile. … Moderate amounts are gained by smelting/cooking other materials: food, clay balls or blocks, cactus, wood logs, sand, or cobblestone, cactus giving the most.

Beat The Wither Or The Dragon

Both the Wither and the Ender Dragon are major bosses in the game, and as such when they’re first beaten they give out;a huge amount of;experience points. The Ender Dragon especially gives 12,000 points, while the Wither only gives 50. Still, both of them are excellent the first time around.

The good thing with the Wither is that even when he’s respawned he’ll continue to dish out 50 points after being beaten. The dragon, however, will only provide 500 every time he’s respawned in the End. The dragon might be easier to respawn, but the Wither is significantly easier to beat if environmental exploits are used.

The Following Answer Is Outdated

See, the thing is;

  • Monster Spawners take too long to spawn monsters.
  • The Ender-Dragon can only be killed once.
  • Running around at night can be dangerous, and you wanted the SAFEST method.

This method requires a heck of a lot of prep, and a good source of iron , but that aside, it’s safe, extremely effective, and unlike the other methods mentioned, it’s directly reactive to how much effort and time you put into it, meaning you get more ‘umph’ if you give it more ‘heave’.

This is what I did:

I walked a short distance from my house , and built a tower. My tower has six floors, but you can make as many floors as you like, and more floors will mean more monsters to kill. .

My towers’ dimensions are 22 blocks long, by 17 blocks wide. I do not suggest you make it any larger and will explain why momentarily. The tower is made entirely of cobblestone. The base of the tower has a stone floor as well. Each floor of the tower is 3 blocks high, thats one block for the actual walking surface and two blocks of air. Each floor of the tower is featureless, and completly closed off to the outside. There is a circular staircase going up around the outside of the tower, with about a 6 block long ‘flat’ walking area located one block below the ground level of each floor.

This method is almost 100% safe with a FEW noted exceptions.

Final Notes: Be sure to put torches on the roof of your tower, else monsters will spawn on the roof and dive-bomb you when you approach.

Top 5 Mobs That Give You The Most XP In Minecraft

Enchanting your items is a great way of making your Minecraft life easier. You can kill mobs faster, collect more resources, earn more loot, traverse water or stay alive longer. Repairing items is also important to make sure you always have those glorious enchantments available.

To get such enchantments, you need levels. Sprucing up enchanted items with further enchantments can be a real nightmare to obtain, as levels can be hard to come by. Fortunately theres a myriad of ways to obtain experience.;

I highly recommend you incorporate each of the following sources into your usual Minecraft routine. Dont just go for experience when you need it, earning it over time can not only result in higher earnings, itll provide more resources of all kinds to help fund other methods, as well as filling your chests.

    Most XP farms require a staggering amount of resources to build. This can make most players think twice before attempting to build one, especially in survival mode or even hardcore mode. However, a good XP farm in Minecraft doesn’t have to be resource heavy.

    A simple stone XP farm using furnaces is just enough for a singleplayer survival world, at least in the beginning. By smelting stone, the furnaces store and generate XP in them, similarly to a few other designs. WaffleNite showcases this design pretty well in his video.

If you’re wanting to really max out all of your items and what not, you’re going to have to farm up some XP.

    Hostile Mobs Drop Minecraft Xp

    Killing hostile mobs such as zombies, skeletons, spiders, or creepers will drop a small amount of XP. This is typically a slower way to get levels in Minecraft unless you construct a mob grinder . Keep in mind that only mobs recently attacked by a player will drop orbs. Using fire, lava, fall damage, or other ways to kill mobs automatically will not drop any XP orbs. For an XP orb mob grinder, it is best to concentrate mobs into a central location where they can be easily killed by a player. Consider building your grinder from a dungeon mob spawner to get more drops.
