Valheim dragon eggs are one of the game’s most unusual items. They can be hard to find, requiring dangerous excursions into a freezing cold and deadly area of the world. And once you’ve found some they can be extremely difficult to take with you, for reasons I’ll explain further down in this Valheim dragon egg guide.
Before you begin your search, you should have already taken on the Swamps and defeated Bonemass, Valheim’s third boss.
How To Hatch The Ender Dragon Egg In Minecraft Without Mods
However, there are two possible ways to do this, but only the first is sure. The second way may not work for you, and it depends on what version of Minecraft you have. I will start with the first method:
The first way is pretty simple. All you need to do is place a regular dragon egg on top of an obsidian block and then place a regular chest on top of the dragon egg. You should receive this message after about five minutes: Your black dragon egg vibrates for a moment when you see that the egg has successfully hatched!
It is the only method I know of that always works, and therefore its worth it to spend a few minutes and craft a regular chest and an obsidian block. However, there is another way if this one doesnt work for you. It may take more time, though:

Dragon eggs have no practical benefit and they exist solely for cosmetics, but even so, respawning the ender dragon does not spawn another dragon egg.

How Do I Cop It
Most players want to grab the egg to put it on display, or maybe just because they dont want others to have it. The easiest way to do this is with a piston. First, cover up the entirety of the portal to make sure the Dragon Egg doesnt fall through. Place a piston adjacent to the egg, then activate the piston. This will cause the egg to drop as an item, which then will allow you to pick it up and bring it around as any other item.
Another simpler strategy is to let it teleport once. After that, break the block under it and quickly place a torch within that small time frame before it falls. The egg will break and become an item.
Locating The Ender Portal:
After crafting the Eyes of Ender, put it in your hotbar and use it. Eyes of Ender will always fly in the direction of the Ender Portal. Make sure to follow the Eyes of Ender to locate the Ender Portal in Minecraft.
However, it will not take you precisely to the Ender Portal but within the vicinity of the portal room. In this case, we suggest setting up a small camp so that you have a safe place to rest at night. After setting up a camp, start digging the location to locate the portal rooms exact location.
