Minecraft Parental Controls Via Xbox Live And In
Xbox Live sign-in is required now to play Minecraft multiplayer games online. And creating an Xbox Live account and Gamertag allows parents to set up privacy and multiplayer preferences.
- To set up Parental control, log in to Xbox Live Account at login.live.com. If you dont yet have an Xbox Live Account, you can easily create one for free, using a Microsoft account.
- Within your Xbox Live Account, click on Privacy and Online Safety. There youll find the gamerpics for everyone in your Microsoft Family.
- Now, find Join Multiplayer Games Settings: once you disallow this function, your child wont be able to join any multiplayer games online in Minecraft or even shared local worlds, realms, or servers.
- Child Accounts for Under 13: Here, you must provide permission to create an Xbox Live account, and creating a child account here: . Child accounts have multiplayer communication blocked by default.
- Others Can Communicate with Voice, Text, or Invites Settings: When these settings are blocked, your child can still join and play multiplayer Minecraft games, but they wont be able to see chat messages from other players or their invitations to join games.
And for in-game security, you can add, mute, block, or report players via the Minecraft Pause menu. Also, you can set player permissions from the Pause menu, so that your child can invite friends to look at but not join worlds, or help fight off zombies without attacking themselves.

Select the Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab
At the bottom, change Add Friends to Allow and click Submit.
At this point, Minecraft still will not allow you to add friends. You have to actually sign out of Microsoft and sign back in again. It’s no good just closing Minecraft and opening again!
In Minecraft, go back to the main screen, then click Profile.
Then click Sign in for Free!
It should then take you to the Microsoft sign-in screen. If it doesn’t, try leaving Minecraft and starting it again.
Sign in, then click Let’s Play!
Hopefully, you’ll now be able to add friends.
How To Enable Cross
If you have a family group set up with your Microsoft Account and for Xbox, then you’ll already know about some of the great features for controlling what your kids have access to. But one thing they may want to use is actually hidden behind a setting you might not know exists.
Crossplay.
This is specifically referring to cross-network play, that is, playing with friends outside the Xbox Live walls. When it comes to some of today’s best Xbox games like Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeons, it’s perfectly possible for your kids to play from their Xbox Series S with their friends on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation, for example, but to do so, you’ll have to give them the magic permission first.

Invite People To My Realm
Its easy to invite other players to your Ream on Minecraft for Mobile, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation® 4 and 5, Windows 10 and Xbox One and Series X|S. To do this, you can use the Realms Invite Link feature to easily add more players without having to individually add them to your Realm.
Invite links are custom URLs, unique to your Realm, that you can use to invite new members. When someone clicks on an invite link, they will be prompted to sign in or sign up with their Xbox Live account.
They are then immediately added to the Realms whitelist/allowlist, which is your customized list of players you have welcomed to your Realm. Being on a whitlist/allowlist means they can jump into the world right away, even if the owner isnt online.
If your Realm is getting a bit crowded, you can cancel the old invite link so no one new can use it. Just refresh the link from your Realms member settings. Only the newest version of your invite link will let new players join, so its up to you if you want to share the new link with a new group of friends or keep it private.

How To Add Cross
