What Else Can Be Bred Other Than Villagers

Villagers arent the only species that can be bred in Minecraft. You can also breed pets, tamed animals, such as horses, donkeys, cows, and even bees! Every animal species has different breeding requirements. So, to breed horses, you need to feed them a golden apple or a golden carrot. Cows, goats, and sheep are willing to breed after eating wheat. Pigs will eat carrots, potatoes, and beetroot same as villagers, though you only need one instead of 12.

Wolves will breed after eating most types of meat. Chickens want to be fed seeds, and cats raw fish. You can also make baby animals grow faster by feeding them certain types of food. For example, sheep grow faster when eating grass, horses when consuming sugar. Another species that you can breed is hoglins. You can kill them to get two-four raw pork chops and one leather, but they will attack you and the village inhabitants.

    Villager Breeding In Minecraft

    Better Villagers [ Forge

    To breed, you first need to find a village that has villagers in it.

    Then;make sure there are doors on the buildings you want to use as breeding hubs. If not, villagers can’t get the privacy they need for their business time.

    You then need to make sure:

    • The buildings have three beds
    • One for each of the two villagers, and one for the incoming baby.;
  • That you;give two villagers some food
  • Ideally three bread. However, 12 carrots, 12 beetroots, or 12 potatoes will also work.
  • Next, lure the two villagers into a building that has three beds, close the door as you leave, and go kill 20 minutes.

    When you return, there should be a little baby villager; wait another 20 minutes and that baby will be fully grown.

    Terrifying.;

    How To Find A Minecraft Village

    Villages, just like other Minecraft structures, generate naturally when you create your Minecraft world. Villages can be found in the following biomes:

    • Desert
    • Taiga
    • Snowy Tundra

    The style and architecture of each village differs based on its biome. But mostly they consist of a smattering of houses, farms, and one or two larger structures, all connected by lit pathways. Villages are usually inhabited by villagers, cats, and farm animals; but occasionally there will also be an Iron Golem protecting a village.

    In Survival Mode, there’s no special way to find the nearest Minecraft village: you just have to start exploring any of the above biomes that you come across. Or, if you’d like, you can make things much easier for yourself by using one of the village spawns in our list of the best Minecraft seeds.

    Why Do You Want Villagers

    Villagers can be traded with, and the more of them there are in an area, the more you can trade.

    They can also be given jobs using a composter or a blast furnace, among other things. They’re a really helpful part of any world, and having them will only benefit you.;

    Whats Reputation In Minecraft

    You have a different reputation in every village in Minecraft. It ranges from -30 to +30, starting at 0. Your reputation can be increased by trading with villagers and upgrading their professional skills. If you attack or kill a villager or their baby, your reputation will drop.

    Therefore, if your village is full, dont kill anyone instead, send them away. When it drops below -15, villagers become hostile to you and iron golems attack you, so trading becomes nearly impossible. Furthermore, if you kill an iron golem, your reputation drops by another 10 points, so getting rid of them wont solve the problem. Villagers also gossip, affecting your reputation. Breeding villagers doesnt increase your reputation, but when a baby villager grows up, you can make them an apprentice to get additional reputation points.

    Can Villagers Follow You In Minecraft Answered

    Make Villagers follow you. Minecraft 20w15a.

    Unfortunately, theres no kind of Follow command or way to truly befriend Villagers so that theyll follow you on-foot wherever you go.

    Some players have tried pushing them around their worlds to wherever they want them to end up, while others have tried using fishing rods, but neither of these methods is really all that efficient.

    That being said, there are ways to move these handy traders around, but they wont just follow you of their own accord. Instead, youll have to transport them either by using a rail and a cart, or with the help of a boat.

    NiclasBlockos Minecraft on YouTube has a handy video weve included below to show you exactly how to do this.
