Another more straightforward way to install mods for Minecraft Java is to download a Modpack launcher. These launchers significantly cut down on the time and pain it takes to install mods, buy allowing with a click of a button to install large installations of several mods.

How To Download Minecraft Forge
This is the most important part of installing Minecraft mods. Mods wont work in the normal Minecraft, so we need a special version thats designed for modding.
Head on over to the Minecraft Forge website and download the version of Forge thats compatible with your chosen mods.
If the mod youve got is for version 1.15.2, then download Forge version 1.15.2.

How To Install Forge In Minecraft
To install Forge, you’ll need to visit the Minecraft Forge website. When you’re on the website, select the correct Minecraft Version. You can check the version you’re about to download by clicking Minecraft Version on the top left. Make sure it’s the 1.19 version.
Now that you’ve selected the correct version of Minecraft, you’ll need to click on the Installer at the center of the page.
After you click it, you’ll be taken to another page and asked to wait five seconds. Once the five seconds are up, you’ll see a red Skip button on the top right.
As soon as you click it, you’ll install Forge on your PC. Once it’s installed on your computer, click it again, and you’ll get this prompt on your screen.
Make sure the Install Client is selected, click okay, and it’ll begin installing.
Deleting Mods Fixing Crashes And Restoring Minecraft
There are 3 ways to delete a mod.
To restore Minecraft, go to the AppData folder. Go into Roaming. Move your .minecraft folder onto the desktop. Open the Minecraft Launcher, making sure your username and password are correct and log in. The Minecraft Launcher will then download a new, fresh .minecraft folder into the Roaming folder. Once it is done, open your modded .minecraft folder. Go into the Saves folder. Do the same for the fresh, no mods .minecraft folder. Take your worlds from the modded .minecraft folder and put them into the saves folder in the fresh .minecraft folder. Your worlds should be fine, but any mod items in your world will disappear.
To fix a crash, consult the following problem solving list:
– Did you delete the META-INF folder in minecraft.jar?
– Forgot ModLoader?
– Do your mods have conflicting item or block IDs? If so, most mods have a properties file to change the block and item IDs.
– Look in modloader.txt to see what block ID are conflicted.
– Is the mod made for your current version of Minecraft?
– Did you install any/all dependencies for the mod? For example, TurboModelThingy is required for the Planes Mod to work, and ModLoaderMP is required with Modloader for SDK’s Guns Mod.
