Minecraft: How to Make an Automatic Dispenser(EASY!)

To make a dispenser or automatic dispenser in Minecraft, you will need a series of very simple objects to obtain, which are:

Seven stone, a bow and a redstone ore. Getting the stone is the simplest, since it appears naturally throughout the world of Minecraft and you can chop it with a pick of any material.

To make or craft a bow you will need three sticks and three strings . You should order them as follows:

In the first row in the second box a stick and in the third a thread, in the second row in square number one a stick and in the third a thread and finally in the third row again in square number two a stick and in the three other thread. This will make your bow appear.

Finally, in the case of the redstone, you must go to a cavern and look for the block that contains it, this you must chop it with a metal pick only . One trick to getting your block easy, is to dig as far down as possible and then straight from there.

How To Craft A Bow

For crafting a bow, you will require 3 strings and 3 sticks. Its easier to craft sticks, but if you dont know anything about strings, check out this guide on how to get strings in Minecraft. Once you have it all, here are the steps you should follow to craft a bow in Minecraft.

Open the crafting menu with the crafting grid and place the strings and sticks in the given order.

Place the three strings in all three boxes in the third row. Moreover, place the sticks in the second box of the first row, the first box of the second row, and the second box of the third row.

Crouching Player Hidden Creeper

I personally love this trap as its very subtle, but very effective. I often use furnaces and dispensers as floors, as their tops look great in stone buildings. This made me realize the dispensers could be used as the perfect trap.

In the example weve once again used our basic house setup. A simply iron door is opened by a pressure plate, leading into a room with a dispenser floor. Nothing seems out of the ordinary, sure, a player might get suspicious of the pressure plate, but we can work around that.

The pressure plate in our example is connected to one of the dispensers used in the floor, which contains creeper spawn eggs. When a player steps on the pressure plate, a signal will be send through a couple of repeaters to delay the signal, this both prevents the creeper from spawning right away and it will make players less suspicious of the pressure plate, as nothing happens right away.

Once the player has walked through the door, a creeper egg will pop out of the dispenser, which will immediately spawn a creeper. The creeper will first be stuck in the floor, but as soon as it moves, itll pop out. Any player caught unaware of my trap will have walked passed the dispenser with the creeper, so the creeper will spawn behind the player and kill the player silently.

This method can be used on more than 1 dispenser, so the whole room could be instantly filled with 10s or 100s of creepers, especially if you use a redstone clock to make the repeaters fire constantly.

Add The Items To The Menu

In the crafting table, add the Redstone dust, 7 cobblestones, and bow to the grid.

You must add the redstone dust, cobblestone blocks, and bow to the grid exactly as shown in the image below. In the 1st row place down 3 cobblestones, one in each box. In the 2nd row place 1 cobblestone in the 1st box, 1 bow in the 2nd box, and 1 cobblestone in the 3rd box. In the 3rd row place 1 cobblestone in the 1st box, the Redstone dust in the 2nd box, and finally 1 cobblestone in the 3rd box. This is the Minecraft dispenser recipe.

Now that you’ve added the items to the grid as described above, you’ll notice a dispenser appear in the box on the right.

Gather The Required Materials

You need one redstone block for each redstone ore you collect. Redstone ore can be mined with an iron pickaxe or better tool.

Make A Bundle Of Sticks

To craft a bundle of sticks, you need to place a plank in the bottom-centre square of the crafting table, then add another one right on top in the middle square. This will result in a bundle of four sticks which needs to be moved to the inventory.

Now that you know where to get what you need, you just have to find your work table and place each item in the following order:

In the first row in each square a piece of stone, in the second row in square one and three other pieces of stone and in the second row the arch, to end in row number three again a piece of stone in squares one and three and in two the redstone.

When you have finished you just have to grab your dispenser and you will have it in inventory for use. This is basically used to throw or shoot objects in the direction your face is looking at.

Put Repeaters And Then Another Redstone Dust

Deploy repeaters and redstone dust

As shown in the figure, install a repeater that extends from the stone block and aims at the pipette. Connect the repeater and the comparator with a redstone dust.

As soon as an item is present in the comparator, a redstone signal is generated. The comparator would provide this signal to the repeater, which would then feed it back to the comparator.
