If you’ve found the obsidian in caves, then you need to watch out because each block typically has lava underneath it. Therefore, when you break one, it’s likely to fall straight into the fiery liquid and burn to a crisp.

A good way to avoid that is to pour some water next to the block you’re looking to break. Then when you destroy it, the water will cover the bit of lava before your item burns. Or you can carefully mine under the block and then use a bucket and blocks to replace the lava.

The Nether Portal In Minecraft

You can go to the Nether in Minecraft using the Nether Portal. The portal is made of obsidian stone, which is one of the most difficult materials to mine in the game. You can mine obsidian and build portals using a diamond pickaxe. If you dont have a diamond pickaxe, you can use the mold to make Portal structures without having to mine. The Nether Portal is in all versions of Minecraft.

Method

Forming Obsidian Structures In Place

Because obsidian is formed when you pour water over lava, it is possible to build obsidian structures by placing buckets of lava in the position you want the obsidian, then pouring water over. This is useful if you want to build with obsidian, but don’t have any diamonds to make a diamond pickaxe. A Nether Portal could be constructed with 10 buckets of lava and 1 bucket of water.

The only area well find Piglins in is in Nether. This, by the way, shows the hostility when it sees us. So we need gold armor to avoid problems as this pleases it and makes it neutral in that regard. If we find Piglin we have to give him a gold bar or simply have him fall to the ground. Then we will examine the gold bar and find that the Piglin is throwing an object on the ground.

For the gold bar, we have many options for exchanging items, including the obsidian that weeps. The fall rate of these is as follows:

    • Shroomlight 8.84 percent

What Is Obsidian And How Is It Obtained

Obsidian is a block of purple color that has a great resistance. It is the result of contact between lava and water, when they interact as we explained in our guide on what to do with lava . It is a very interesting material because, although you cannot create many with it, it is essential to travel to one of the 3 worlds of Minecraft , the Nether or Underworld .

    How to get Obsidian

You know what it is, now we are going to explain how to get Obsidian in Minecraft . The only way this block appears is when the lava is placed on top of the water, not when they come into contact laterally or superficially. The best way to get Obsidian is to create an artificial well in the game and put a good amount of lava first. Then, with a bucket, pour water on top and those purple blocks will appear, those of Obsidian.

Now, to be able to extract them safely, the first thing you should do is keep in mind that there is lava underneath, and that it can kill you in seconds. It is also essential that you keep in mind that not just any peak is worth it. To extract Obsidian you must use a Diamond Pick , and it is not worth using another. It will take 7.5 seconds to break it, but you will be able to extract the material you want. If you use another pickaxe, you will be able to break the block, but you won’t get anything from it.

    Efficient Minecraft Wall Building

Building a wall seems simple enough that instructions shouldnt be necessary. However, how to build a wall quickly is not obvious. The best way is as described. At the start of your wall place a Minecraft block down, we will call this the buffer block. Then, with your wall material equipped, go to the other end of your wall, look down, run back towards the buffer block while holding down the right mouse button.

You will notice that this lets you place blocks as fast as you can run back, and that the buffer block stops you from flying off the end. Repeat this process as many times as you want, and make sure you continue to place the buffer block first, since, as the more the wall grows, the more you dont want to fall off it. Congratulations, you are now schooled in the basic building practices of Minecraft. These maneuvers may not seem necessary for a quaint little house. But as your ambition grows, your structures will become massive, and cutting corners will be a huge time saver.
