Minecraft Helps You Stay Together With Friends In The Game

In this game each participant presents their own fun, that allows them to collaborate and share with friends, and thus hang out with other players. Minecraft is safe and practical with this game you will have the opportunity to enjoy with people of any age and from anywhere in the world. Like you can put the mods, create series and plugins as you wish among other things. Also by being the creator of the server you can earn money.

There are many methods that you can use when playing with your friends in Minecraft, among them we can mention the LAN game which you can do without having to be Premium or have hamachi, but it will only help you play on local network or LAN. That is why it will not be useful if you want to play with friends from other cities or countries.

Another method to play with your friends is Minecraft with Hamachi, in which you can see how you can create a world and share with your friends who are far away from your local area and the most important thing is that it does not require you to have a server all you have to do is download Hamachi. Minecraft online is another method where you can invent a world to be able to play with many friends, that is, multiplayer online and for free.

Transfer Saved Minecraft Worlds To Another Computer On Mac Os X 107 Lion

My 14 year old son is really into the online world / game simulation Minecraft. My Mac laptop is our only home computer with adequate RAM and processor speed to run the program, so hes regularly competing with me these days for laptop screen time. This month Ive installed a new hard drive on my laptop, so thats necessitated re-installation of all our software programs as well as data migration for programs which save files in places other than my documents folder. One of our challenges was figuring out how to transfer his saved Minecraft virtual worlds from the old hard drive to the new one.

To learn how to transfer the saved Minecraft files in the Mac OS X operating system, we turned to YouTube tutorials like this one. It showed the file path to Minecraft files on our Mac: Hard Drive Minecraft- Saves

The problem we ran into, however, is the LIBRARY folder in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion is hidden by default. This is a new feature by Apple ostensibly provided to protect users from deleting or moving critical system files. In this case, however, it meant Alexanders Minecraft files were hidden and we couldnt readily copy them.

Some additional Google searches revealed a geeky technique for using a Terminal command to show the Library in the User folder, but I really wanted something easier.

Hopefully this information will help you if you need to move Minecraft files on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.

One: Set A Static Ip For Your Gaming Computer

First things first, you need to assign a static IP address to the computer that is hosting your Minecraft session. By doing this, you avoid having to look up the IP address of your computer on the local LAN every time you want to play with your friends online.

You can assign a static IP address at the computer level, but thats not ideal, as it may conflict with the IP addresses your router assigns to other machines. Ideally, you want to set the static IP address at the router level.

RELATED:How to Set Up Static DHCP So Your Computer’s IP Address Doesn’t Change

This process varies based on the manufacturer and the version of the firmware installed on your router, but our guide to setting a static IP address on a router running DD-WRT provides a good overview of the process. In most cases, youll need the MAC address of the Minecraft computer to do this. If you run into any problems, youll have to refer to the manual for your specific router.

In our example, we found our computers MAC address and weve given it the IP address 10.0.0.101 in the static lease section of our routers configuration. After saving, your computer should keep that same IP address forever .

How Do You Delete Worlds In Minecraft

Sometimes a world exceeds its usefulness, and it’s time to free up a little more space on your device or console. Fortunately, deleting your worlds in Minecraft is almost as easy as creating new ones, so you can clear out old worlds you don’t play anymore whenever you want.

To delete worlds in Minecraft, follow these steps:

  • Make sure you’re in the right place by opening Minecraft on your device or console.

  • Tap or click **on the “Play” button* directly below the Minecraft logo on the main menu.

  • This will bring up a screen with three tabs along the top. Look for the world you want to delete in the list under the “Worlds” tab, below the “Create New” button.
  • Tap or click on the “Edit” button to the right of the world’s name. It’ll look a bit like a pencil or crayon writing something down.

  • This should open the “Edit” screen that looks nearly identical to the initial “Create” screen when you create a new world. Scroll to the bottom of the list on the right-hand side of the screen.

  • Tap or click on the “Delete World” button near the bottom of the screen, next to the “Export World” and “Copy World” buttons.

  • A confirmation will pop-up on the screen. If you’re sure you want to delete this world, tap or click on the “Delete” button underneath the pop-ups warning message.
