Terraria: 2d Game Like Minecraft
Terraria is a sandbox game just like Minecraft where you have to explore the deep expanse of forest to survive yourself. You begin with a pickaxe and a sword to find resources as well as defend yourself from zombies, skeletons, and flying eyes . However, keep in mind that, unlike Minecrafts 3D gameplay, you have a 2D game in a linear progression in Terraria.
Basically, you wont be able to roam around anywhere and have to stick to one path. But the best part about Terraria is that there are exciting explorations, crafting, combat, and mining for which Minecraft is extremely popular.

Fortnite: Save The World
While Fortnite Battle Royale has exploded in popularity this year, the other and original Fortnite game mode, Save The World, hasnt seen as much support. Its a shame, as its a solid game, and a very good alternative to Minecraft. Unfortunately, its not free-to-play like Battle Royale is, so that instantly creates a barrier for the vast majority of Fortnite players.
The combat mechanics are largely the same between the two modes, but rather than fighting other players here, you work together to stave off the zombie horde. Thats a concept thats been done to death, sure, but Epic mixes it up a little by adding a bit of Minecraft to its riff on Left 4 Dead. You build and create your own base, placing construction parts and traps as you please, and then venture forth into the world to complete missions.
Royale Rumble: The best Battle Royale games like Fortnite
You can play Fortnite: Save The World with up to three friends, and as you beat back the undead together youll unlock skill points to upgrade your characters. Plus, there are regular timed events to coincide with real-world festivities like Christmas, Halloween, and Easter, meaning you can celebrate with your friends no matter the distance between you.

The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Those who fancy the exploration, item gathering, and combat features of Minecraft will likely find much to love about Nintendo’s epic Zelda romp for Switch. This 2017 title drew from the open-world RPG traits of games like Skyrim while adding unique touches, detailed physics, and majestic Zelda flair.
The game contains a true sense of freedom and wonder as you journey across the vast lands of a ruined Hyrule with the hero Link. While building is absent, Breath of the Wild offers a plethora of diverse actions to engage in, item crafting, versatile mechanics, and plenty of exciting combat. The more threatening conditions during the night – and the blood moon, in particular – is reminiscent of Minecraft‘s dynamic day-night cycle.

The Flame In The Flood
Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch
For anyone who takes satisfaction from the risk-reward dynamic of survival crafting games, but is burnt out on the first-person style gameplay which first originated with Minecraft, theres a good chance The Flame in the Flood will be right up your alley. Unlike most survival games, youre constantly on the move in The Flame in the Flood, heading downstream in a washed-out USA to find the source of a radio signal. This figurative and literal flow of pace, in addition to the ambient visuals and folksy soundtrack, allows Flame in the Flood to really stand out, making it well worth its comparatively higher asking price. Plus, who doesnt like the idea of a loyal dog for a companion in these trying times?
Fantastic But Music Doesnt Work
Great game, Ive spent a lot of time playing, and the only thing that bothers me is that you cannot play music while playing in the game. If you enter the game while music is playing, your music stops, and if you start music while youre in the game then the game freezes. This does have some interesting effects, for example you can use a sort of pseudo-sonar and see your city from the bottom if youre in the map and turn on music, but you still cant move around. If you have headphones that turn on and off, if you move forward in the app and turn on your music while moving, it will play and you will function normally. Very rarely if you turn on music extremely quickly while the game is in the middle of loading it will work, but I have not yet found a way to consistently be able to listen to music and play the game on the same device with normal headphones. Maybe this doesnt affect anyone else, but I hope this will be fixed in the future. Heres another tip: if you dont want to spend money or wait hours to make huge structures, stay on level two. If levels, multiplayer, sharing your city, or being able to build the ones they give to you or use the other blocks matters to you ignore this. Its just that you have unlimited blocks at level 2.
