I am just wondering if anyone else has encountered this error. I have searched and haven’t found this discussion.

I’ll get to the point. When I spawn in a player’s head, mine for example. It comes in but only shows as Steve. I have spawned in other player heads that belong to friends I play with. Again all heads spawn in but they either show as Steve or Alex. I have read that if I place the head down on a block or the ground then it would render to the correct skin. No matter what I try this doesn’t affect the head and it still shows as either Steve or Alex. So has Mojang stopped allowing us to get player heads? I have researched this for about 3 hours and still haven’t found a solution. I have tried many suggestions, and nothing is working.

I used this site and used the code. I get a head but as you have guess it gives me Steve or Alex only.

Does anyone have insight as to why this is happening or have a solution.

Edited to say that I have verified that my skin is configured properly on my minecraft.net profile and when I search my skin it shows correctly. In game my skin shows correctly as well.
