Create Houses For Villagers
In villages, the amount and type of structures spawn randomly when the world is created. The only buildings that spawn with beds are houses. Small houses are buildings with one bed, and medium houses are buildings with two beds. They often have different layouts, decorations, and different colored beds. You can mimic these houses when expanding your village, or come up with your own designs!
Buildings without beds correspond to villager professions. Each one contains a job site block that belongs to a spawned villager. The Camp is every player’s central hub in Minecraft Dungeons and is the perfect locale to tweak loadouts, change gear, power-up characters, and more. For All Minecraft Editions After 114 And Later
Find a village. On the map, villages appear at random locations. Wait patiently. It may take some time to find a village. A village can be found in a biome such as a plain, desert, taiga, or savannah. There must be at least two villagers in the village.
Build a structure to breed your villagers in . The structure is not necessary to breed villagers, but it will prevent them from wandering off. Additionally, it will protect them from hostile mobs and raiders.
Any building material can be used to construct the structure. In addition to providing beds for each villager and their offspring, it must be large enough to house all the villagers you want to breed.
Window coverings should include iron bars or glass. Through the structures openings, babies can escape.
Craft at least 3 beds and place them in the village or structure. Villagers need beds both for themselves and for the babies they produce in order to breed.
Every villager you wish to make will require a new bed. The crafting table can be used to craft beds from three wool blocks and three planks of wood.
Get at least two villagers close together. Build a structure that you can corral them into and then wall off the entrance so they cant escape.
Villagers can be moved by simply walking into them. As a result, they are motivated to move in the right direction. Even on land, villagers can be transported by boat.

Building Houses In The Village
How Do You Protect A Village
With all these threats looming ominously over every innocent village, it may be in your best interests to thoroughly protect them. From simply ensuring the village is well lit, to building external defenses, to contracting a private army, there are multiple ways to accomplish this.
Light it up. Hostile mobs like zombies, skeletons and creepers typically spawn at night in areas with little to no light. One of the most effective deterrents to prevent villages from being attacked is filling it with torches. By default villages aren’t lit very well, so placing a ton of torches can do the trick.
Man the walls. While torches can keep hostile mobs from spawning inside of the village, walls or trenches can prevent mobs from wandering in from outside. There are multiple ways of doing this. A simple wall at least 2 blocks high will prevent anything from getting in. A trench at least 2 blocks deep with a fence on the inside will also do the trick.
The best course of action is to adopt all three of these methods. None of them are perfect solutions. Iron golems can’t be everywhere at once, and may arrive too late to save a villager. Walls and torches are great, but zombie sieges can end it all.

Kidnapping From A Village
An easy way to obtain villagers involves using a boat to move villagers from the nearest village to a more convenient place. Boats can be moved on level ground . A villager can be made to enter the boat by pushing the villager into the conveyance , and the villager does not leave until the boat is broken. However, boats can move only downward but not upward. You can, however, push a boat upward using a piston and a redstone torch.
Why Are Minecraft Villagers Not Breeding
Minecraft villagers may not be breeding because youve not given the proper food, habitat, or privacy in the home. Villagers need privacy to breed and lots of food so that they can enter into love mode.
In Minecraft, you cannot solely wish for villagers to breed by feeding them food. You also need to provide the space to live and beds.

Getting Your First Villagers
The next step in this process is probably the most complicated one. The first villagers are the hardest ones to obtain because it all comes down to luck. This is because there are only two ways to get your own villagers. You can either do it by curing zombie villagers that spawn near your base or by kidnapping villagers that already live in a village.

Build A Bigger Breeding Room
To grow even more villagers faster, there is another method.
You need to:
- Build a 12×12 block area surrounded by walls at least two blocks high
- Make sure that there are
- Beds all around the room
- The center is dirt with water to make it fertile
- That there are workstations so the villagers become farmers or butchers or whatever you want them to become
Then, chuck some of the required food at the ones you’ve lured in, and go away for a while. This process will allow villagers to keep breeding until all of the beds are full.

If you dont keep up with Minecraft, its important to know that the game receives large updates every few months, as well as smaller interstitial updates in between those larger ones.

What Threatens A Village
Villages are in a constant state of fear, it seems like. There are a wide variety of threats they have to deal with, which makes a village’s survival suspect without your help. Here’s everything that can harm your villagers, from the most common to the least:
- Zombies and drowned attacks. There are two hostile mobs that selectively target villagers and attack them on sight. Both of these mobs can spawn naturally in and around villages. On harder difficulties, zombies can even break down doors, leaving villagers even more defenseless.
This is by far the easiest threat to deal with, since you can deter them with simple torches and a wall.
- Zombie villagers. Whenever a villager is killed by a zombie or drowned, it can turn into a zombie villager and turn on its own kind. A normal difficulties, the chance is 50%. On hard difficulties, the chance is 100%, and drowned can convert a villager from a distance by throwing a trident at them.
This is another thing that can be avoided pretty easily, but can throw a wrench into things if you’re not diligent. Especially on harder difficulties.
- Raids. In one of the recent major updates for Minecraft, Mojang added pillagers and ravagers. Pillagers are new hostile mobs that vaguely resemble villagers, but are extremely aggressive and are armed with crossbows. Ravagers are these huge beasts that have a lot of attack power and health, and often accompany pillagers during raids.
