Playing Minecraft together is easy. You and your friends just need the right setup as listed below:
- Supported platforms: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows 10, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android and Samsung Gear VR are supported.
- Bedrock Edition: You and your friends need the Bedrock Edition, which is not the same as the Java Edition. Crossplay is not supported for the Java Edition.
- Microsoft account: The last thing need for crossplay is a Microsoft account. If you own an Xbox account just use that instead.

How To Play Minecraft Cross Platform On Playstation 4 Or Playstation 5
The cross platform options within Minecraft are also available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 . First, you will need to make sure you have the game installed and then you will need to make sure you have a Microsoft account. If you do not currently have a Microsoft account, you can sign up for one for free.
Launch the game when you are ready and you should see the option to sign in to your Microsoft account once you reach the main menu. A screen will then be displayed, which will provide you with a unique eight-digit code. You will also be instructed to visit the following URL, which you should visit on any web browser:
