Playing Minecraft together is easy. You and your friends just need the right setup as listed below:
- Supported platforms: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows 10, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android and Samsung Gear VR are supported.
- Bedrock Edition: You and your friends need the Bedrock Edition, which is not the same as the Java Edition. Crossplay is not supported for the Java Edition.

The cross platform options within Minecraft are also available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 . First, you will need to make sure you have the game installed and then you will need to make sure you have a Microsoft account.
