Unfortunately, there is currently no way to hatch the Dragon Egg in vanilla Minecraft. Sorry to disappoint, but the Dragon Egg really does serve as nothing more than a rare mantle piece that can teleport. Newer players may assume that the Dragon Egg could be used to spawn in a new dragon, similar to the spawn eggs in creative mode, but this isn’t the case.
There is, however, a way to respawn the Ender Dragon.
How To Respawn The Ender Dragon Using His Egg
Players can also re-summon the Ender Dragon after defeating it. To do so, you need to place the egg on top of the bedrock structure and make four End Crystals using a crafting tool. Here’s a recipe to build crystals:

Of course, this doesn’t truly end of the game, as you are still free to play in that world, so what do you earn from this? Well, on top of a massive rain of XP, you also earn the Dragon Egg.
As a result of requiring you to beat the final boss, the Dragon Egg is the single rarest item in Minecraft, but what can you do with it? Sure, it makes a cool trophy piece in your home, to show off to your pets that you’ve killed the Ender Dragon, but what else is it used for?

To ride the Ender Dragon and . To control the movements of the dragon, you would require a bone, when you hold the bone by looking in any direction, the dragon moves in that direction. To move up, hold a blaze rod in your hand and the dragon would start to move up, to move down or land the dragon down, open up the dragon’s inventory and put the blaze rod in the given Special Slots these special slots might get hidden because of the dragon, but still you can put the rod in it.
