Minecraft: What Is Known About The Wild Update
In an attempt to improve the wild places in Minecraft’s worlds, Mojang is taking steps to improve life in the wilderness. New mangrove swamp biomes feature deeply-rooted mangrove trees and murky waters to keep them healthy.
Tadpoles hatch and grow into frogs, which will have multiple variations depending on where they hatch.
Mud is also a topic of focus in The Wild Update, becoming its own block. It can be made using a water bottle on a dirt block and can even be dried out into clay by being filtered through dripstone. This creates the first source of renewable clay since Minecraft’s inception.
Mud can even be formed into bricks, providing a new block type that will likely be used at length in shelters and homes.

Likely the biggest draw in the upcoming Minecraft update is the implementation of the once-delayed deep dark biome. This underground biome is oddly devoid of most life and reaches deep into the lowest layers in all of Minecraft.
A strange material known as sculk lines across many places, vibrating to track the movements and noises of players. Sprawling ancient cities can be found in the deep dark and likely have plenty of loot available.
The Warden may be blind, but it can still detect users through other means, and its attacks deal devastating damage. Stealth may be the best option available to many gamers when dealing with this powerful new mob.
Functionality Improvements In The 119 Wild Update
Apart from the new biomes, structures, and mobs, the 1.19 Wild Update also focuses on functionalityimprovements in the game. This brings a lot of new features to the game, but there has been no official information on the new features some features have been confirmed by Minecraft, they are:
Grab your best friend, a treasure map, and your trusty old boat But whats this? Now that trusty-old boat can have a trusty-new chest to carry all that loot from all those adventures!
- Cheat with Boat: This feature will allow players to carry their inventory on a boat while traveling on water.
- Skulk Blocks: Skulk Blocks from the deep dark biome will be compatible with Redstone builds and can act as alarms and security systems.
- Mud Blocks and Bricks: Mud Blocks and Bricks can be used as an alternative material to build in-game homes in Minecraft after the 1.19 Wild Update.
- Frog Lights: Frog lights are new light blocks with three variants that can be spawned by using frogs.
Players can test out the new 1.19 Wild Update features before everyone by signing up for the Minecraft Beta program. The new 1.19 might be rolled out in the late second quarter of this year, and since the update has many new things involved the update might be rolled out in two stages, Part I and PartII. Users can stay updated about all the information by visiting the official Minecraft website or by following the social media handles.

The update will include a bunch of new blocks, biomes, mobs, items, and more. Frogs Are Coming To Minecraft
Another proposed addition thought to be cast aside after the 2019 vote was Minecraft frogs, adorable little critters that would hop around the Swamps. Version 1.19 is adding them too, as well as even cuter tadpoles to serve as their baby forms. Frogs will be native to more than just Swamps, though those native to the Marshes will eat fireflies.
Frogs have three variants, with their chosen one being determined by the water temperature in which a tadpole grows up. Each variant will help the player in a unique way, but exactly how isn’t known yet.

Minecraft 119 The Wild Features
Here’s all the latest news and details on The Wild update including the 1.19 release date, new biomes, Minecraft mobs, features, and more
The update includes a bunch of new features, from new biomes such as the Deep Dark and Mangrove swamp, new Minecraft mobs like The Warden and the allay mob, which won the Minecraft mob vote in 2021. The Minecraft 1.19 The Wild update also features new world generation such as ancient cities that spawn in the Deep Dark an area that only spawns underground. The Deep Dark also features new items like echo shards and disc fragments.
You can make clay or mud brinks thanks to the new Mud block, which you craft by mixing soil with water. There’s also a new enchantment, and Frogs will debut during this update. Heres everything we know about the Minecraft 1.19 release date, as well as a summary of the key features.
How Minecraft Could Improve Enchanting
At the moment, the Minecraft enchanting system heavily favors combat. Players can choose from a wide variety of useful buffs for their weapons and armor, including a lot of enchantments that are exclusive to Minecraft‘s swords, bows, helmets, boots, and so on. In contrast, Minecraft tools fall a little by the wayside. The game does feature some excellent tool enchantments like Fortune and Silk Touch, but the list of options is far shorter than the combat enchantment list, and Minecraft also favors offering enchantments for crucial tools like pickaxes while leaving more niche tools like compasses and spyglasses without their own special enchantments.
In order to help Minecraft players get more mileage out of their enchanting tables, Minecraft should add lots of new enchantments for both niche tools and even some blocks. For instance, compasses could get detection enchantments that make them point towards certain types of Minecraft mobs, while spyglasses could get an enchantment that lets players see through a certain number of blocks. Utility blocks also have a lot of untapped enchanting potential. Furnace enchantments could improve fuel efficiency or experience gains, chest enchantments could raise storage capacity, and so on, all while making a Minecraft player’s home look more magical.
Minecraft is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Minecraft 1: Release Date New Biomes Mobs Features And Other Leaks
With the release of the Minecraft 1.19 update, we saw some interesting additions like the Allay, Mangrove Swamps with frogs, and the Deep Dark with the Warden protecting the Ancient City. With that out of the way, its the perfect time to explore the history, leaks, and rumors to find out whats in store for the Minecraft 1.20 update. We are still months away from the next major Minecraft update, but that doesnt stop us from making some reliable predictions. Just make sure to bookmark this page, as we will update this guide with new leaks, rumors, and confirmed features over the coming months. Having said that, lets not beat around the bush and explore everything we expect to be added in the Minecraft 1.20 update later in 2022.
The Mangrove Swamp Biome
This is another new biome added to the game and it is a pristine-looking area where players will find tadpoles, frogs and items like Mangrove Trees, Leaves, Logs, Planks, Propagule, Logs, Roots, Moss Carpets, and Propagules.
The biome is also home to Frog, another mob added in the update. They are a passive mob that can be grown from Tadpoles, which are another new addition to the game. Frogs give out Froglight every time they eat a magma cube. There are three variants of Froglight, which are Ochre , Pearlescent , and Verdant Froglights.
Mud has also been added to the game. It is found in the Mangrove Biome. Players can also create mud using water bottles on dirt. Mud can be used to make packed mud and mud bricks.
A third mob called Allay has also been introduced in the Minecraft 1.19 update. Allay is a friendly mob that will help the player in seeking the same type of dropped item that it was given. It will only stop looking for the item once it has been taken away from it.

Speculated Features Of Minecraft 120
Leaving the new features aside, the team of Minecraft also has some pending features in the game. So, Minecraft 1.20 can also act as a gap filler update to let developers plan for the future while fixing the existing issues. Some of these features might include:
Bundles, New Village, & More
- Villages: All major Minecraft biomes are supposed to have their own unique villages. But the meadow biome spawns a copy of the plains biome. Similarly, the game has villagers for swamp and biomes, but no villages spawn in either of them. So, Minecraft 1.20 can bring the missing villages to the game.
- Bundles: Minecrafts developers have mentioned bundles on and off over the past few years. They are supposed to be an alternative to chests when we carry and store items. But these bundles havent seen the light of the day in the game. Maybe the upcoming update can change that.
- Illusioner & Giant Zombie: Both of these mobs are currently in the game, but they dont spawn naturally. Their implementation can make the games hostile mobs more interesting.
- Fletching Table: This block is in the game and spawns naturally. But other than giving jobs to Minecraft villagers, it does nothing. Hopefully, developers might give it some functionality soon.
Minecraft Boat With Chest
If you want to explore the swamp, or indeed any other area with plenty of water in Minecraft 1.19, then the new boat with chest could be just what you need. This craft lets you travel around the rivers and lakes with a handy chest onboard, so you can gather up plenty of resources to your heart’s content without worrying about where to store everything.

What About The Other Features That Were Promised In Caves And Cliffs Part 2
Several notable additions that were planned to be released with Minecraft 1.18 have since been delayed, and will now reach us at the earliest in Minecraft 1.19, which will likely drop sometime in 2022. These delays include the new Deep Dark biome, Sculk Blocks, and the Warden.
It’s been further confirmed that at least three of the delayed features won’t be included in the Wild Update either, though the Minecraft team are at pains to assure us that none of these features are cancelled. Still, it’s sad news for those of us who have been most excited about these changes, but at least we’ll soon get to explore the vast new terrain changes that Minecraft 1.18 will bring.
That’s a wrap on the main features and details of Minecraft’s upcoming 1.18 update. Until then, the best way to change up the look of your world and inject that sense of discovery back into the game is to install one of the best Minecraft texture packs. Or, if you want an entirely different experience from your regular singleplayer world, why not check out one of the many great Minecraft servers available right now?
Echo Shards And Recovery Compass
As you explore the Deep Dark, you’ll find treasure chests. Within, you might find a new item called Echo Shards. Echo Shards are small dark crystals that you can use to craft a Recovery Compass. To do this, place a regular Compass in the centre of a Crafting Table and then eight Echo Shards around the edge.
A Recovery Compass will point players who have previously died to their last death location. This makes it easier than ever to collect your loot after you die. This will prove especially useful for those who enjoy mining, as the risk of falling to your death and losing everything after finding Diamonds is suddenly a lot less scary.

Don’t Want: Redstone Changes
Redstone is the Minecraft equivalent of electronic wiring, which in itself is quite complex to learn and master. Simple constructions can really make a survivor’s life a lot easier, but unless you’re a bit of a genius, most of us have no clue what most of the items do or how to make them. Redstone wiring is a bit of a niche thing, and outside of making the simplest mob grinders and experience farms, we probably don’t need anymore complex Redstone functionalities to further confuse us. If anything, a guidebook would be much appreciated, Mojang!
Get Ready For The Next Major Minecraft 120 Update
With that, you now know every possible feature that might come with the Minecraft 1.20 update. And if we end up getting even half of the speculated features, Minecraft 1.20 will be one of the best updates to reach the game. But that mystery will only be solved later this year in November or December. For now, if you want to make the most of the Wild Update, our list of best Minecraft 1.19 seeds can definitely help you out. We even have a dedicated list of the best Ancient City seeds in Minecraft 1.19 to help you locate and defeat the Warden. What’s Next For Minecraft Dungeons
Mojang made a series of other announcements at Minecraft Live today, including what’s next for Minecraft Dungeons. A new live-service element called Seasonal Adventures is coming this December. Players can complete weekly challenges to earn points that they can spend on cosmetics like skins, capes, pets, emotes, and “flairs” that make their character perform a specific action when taking down an enemy or levelling up, for example.
Season One of Minecraft Dungeons’ new Seasonal Adventures is called The Cloudy Climb. It adds a new location, the Tower, which is a single-player experience. You start with a blank-slate character called the Tower Avatar and you make your way up the floors of the tower, which are populated with mobs, and each one more difficult than the last. Each floor is themed and has new enemies, and progress can be saved between floors, which take only a few minutes to complete.
Mojang plans to release a new Tower about every two weeks, and the Tower is global and the same for everyone. Everyone who completes the Towers gets multiple rewards, while those who even attempt it will receive a reward for their efforts, too.
