Minecraft Achievement Guide: Bullseye
Minecraft Bedrock players can earn the “Bullseye” achievement by hitting the bullseye of a target block with an arrow.
The classic bow and arrow combination is one of the most tried and true ways to defeat an enemy from afar in a video game.
In Minecraft, players can deal an insane amount of damage with a bow, which can come in handy in PvP combat and during boss fights.
However, successfully hitting a target is a bit more tricky with a bow than it is with a melee weapon such as a sword. Players can practice their aim by shooting at a target block, which will reward players with an achievement if players are able to land a bullseye
However, players who struggle with Minecraft archery may find that this is a bit easier said than done.
This article breaks down how players can complete the “Bullseye” achievement without being an archery ace by using a bit of redstone, which makes the process of earning this achievement a whole lot easier.

How To Make An Axe
Time needed: 5 minutes.
To make an Axe in Minecraft, we’ll just need to gather some wood, make some planks, make some sticks, and then put it all together! We’ll show you exactly how to do that in the steps below.
Assuming we don’t have an axe at this stage, then we’re going to need to punch a tree! Just go up to any old tree and start punching the trunk. Once you’ve hit it enough, you will get a wood log. Get at least three of these!
Open up your inventory and place the wood logs into the crafting area. Each log will create four planks, and we’ll need nine in total.
Take four of your planks and fill up the crafting space in your inventory. This will give us a Crafting Table!
Now we’re going to two sticks. Place two wood planks into your Crafting Table or crafting area in your inventory. Stack the planks on top of each other to get four sticks!
We have all the ingredients we need, so we just need to put it all together. If you haven’t already, place your Crafting Table on the ground somewhere. Open it up and place two sticks starting at the bottom up the middle. Then take three wood planks and place them as demonstrated in the following image.
That’s everything you need to know to make a basic wooden axe! You can make higher quality versions with the same recipe by replacing the wooden planks with cobblestone, iron bars, and even Diamonds once you find some!

How To Find A Slime Chunk
The first step to making a slime farm is to find a slime chunk. The world of Minecraft is split into chunks, each being a 16×16 square that extends vertically throughout the entire map. Out of all the chunks, about one in ten will be a slime chunk.
These are special chunks that slimes are able to spawn on. It’s hard to tell where nearby slime chunks are, but this site allows you to find slime chunks based on your seed. To find your seed, type ‘/seed’ into the game and it will appear in the bottom left corner.
To make a slime farm, you will need to locate one of these slime chunks. This is a yellow grid that indicates where each chunk is. After seeing slime chunks in your seed, find the nearest one and head there.

Clearing Out The Slime Chunk
Slimes will spawn in a slime chunk under Y=40. This is your vertical position in the world. To find out where you are, press F3. The middle coordinate will show your vertical position.
To clear an area for your slime farm, you will want to remove every block in the chunk below Y=40. Above, you can see the slime chunk border, as well as the cleared-out area.
This will take a long time. You can mine with a pickaxe, or use TNT to help clear the area. Additionally, a beacon will help you mine faster.
S To Make Slime Spawn Platform
Let’s begin making the slime farm. First, level off the floor and place torches to light up the area. You do not want other mobs to spawn here.
Place slabs around the base of the chunk, 2.5 blocks from the bottom. Above, you can see two blocks placed for measurement. You should attach the slabs to the top of the third block.
For this farm, we build up the walls that border the slime chunk. this will help you quickly see the chunk, as well as keeping and stray slimes contained.
You should now have a layer of slabs. Slimes can spawn in any light level, so you will need to light up the area. This can easily be done by placing jack-o-lanterns in the floor. They provide enough light, and slimes are able to spawn on top.
For this farm, we placed five jack-o-lanterns in the slab platform. The exact location doesn’t really matter, just make sure that the area is sufficiently lit.
On one of the four walls around the platform, dig out a 3×3 area going two blocks deep. Since each wall is 16 blocks across, there is no middle. Try to make this as close to the center as possible.
Place five fences in front of the area. This will be where the iron golem will stand.
To spawn in the iron golem, place four iron blocks in the shape of a T. Placing a jack-o-lantern on the top, middle block will transform the build into an iron golem. He’s not dangerous to you but the fence will keep him in place.

Materials Needed To Build A Slime Farm

- 256 Slabs
- Building Blocks
This build will take a lot of iron. In total, you will need 155 iron bars for all of the hoppers. Additionally, each iron block is crafted with 9 bars, for a total of 36 iron bars. Before building this, make sure that you have enough iron! Through world exploration, you should be able to gather enough iron. Check out our guide on how to build a super smelter, for a quick way to smelt all of your raw iron in bars.
You will also need building blocks. Fortunately, you will need to remove a lot of stone underground, so you can just recycle these blocks. The block will mainly be used to level the ground and smooth out any surface.

Is There A Way To Target Only Undead Mobs In A Command
I want to give undead mobs in a certain radius instant health potions, but I don’t know how to only target undead mobs.
But there is no “undead” mob type. At least in this context.
Any help would be appreciated.
- 1Instant health hurts undead monsters, instant damage heals them. Makes sense, right? Unless you want to kill them. Then I see why you want to give them instant health.
Assuming you’re using a data pack, which you should be doing if this is a big project. Create an entity tag named minecraft:undead with the following contents:
Then target those entities with the following target selector:
If you’re not using a data pack, then have one command per possible entity type, or switch to using a data pack
- SonicBoom2oApr 28 at 14:56
- @ExpertCoder14 So what happens when it becomes one? Your code breaks everywhere it’s been copied. By putting it in the minecraft namespace, you make Mojang adding this entity tag a breaking change, thus preventing them from doing so. wizzwizz4Apr 28 at 19:26
- @SonicBoom2o I’d recommend changing the namespace to something other than minecraft, if you’re still early in your world development. wizzwizz4Apr 28 at 19:27

Status effects are very useful in Minecraft, they can help you with combat, exploration, and all sorts of things. However, these useful effects are usually inaccessible in the early game, or if you just haven’t found a nether fortress yet. Suspicious stew solves this problem, allowing players to get helpful potion effects with just a bowl, some mushrooms, and a flower. Additionally, it provides access to some status effects that are otherwise unobtainable through potions, like the wither effect, saturation, and blindness.
