Simple Boat Starter House
A starter house is usually kind of a blight on the landscape that you will likely destroy as soon as possible.
However, here is a unique idea that youll want to keep around long after you upgrade. This simple Boat House tutorial by YouTuber Nexty is compact, rustic, and a surprisingly sensible security option. For avoiding mobs and gaining the upper hand on any PvP intruders, you couldnt do much better. When you are building a beginners Survival base, you could make good use of the Minecraft Duplication Glitch, still active in 2021!
Landing And Takeoff Platforms
If playing with flying enabled you can create platforms at the same height on multiple buildings for easy flight between the upper levels of different locations. This works great in tree-forts, cities, and anywhere that multiple balconies are otherwise unconnected. Since 1.11.2, firework rockets have allowed the player to have a propelled flight with elytra, so these platforms should have water to slow the impact due to how fast players can fly, if these are meant for elytra.
Build An Obstacle Course
Since you have completed your game, you can also invest some time in building a giant obstacle course so that you and your friends can run around the world parkouring your way out.
Additionally, you can use the latest features from the 1.18 update, such as the dripleaves, to make the obstacle course even harder. Then, ask your friends to join your world and have a run. Time each other, and whoever completes it fast wins.

Minecraft Pvp Map Build
For the game devs and level designers among us, it can be incredibly interesting and rewarding to design a PvP map or arena build in Minecraft, one that is specifically designed for players to fight inside. You have to think not only about how everything will look, but also about whether the sides will be balanced, how much cover there is around, whether there are any traps or drops that it’s impossible to jump out of, and so on. And you can make it any size or shape you want. The above build was made by YouTuber “Gamarudo”, and opts for the traditional gladiator arena approach but you can make a PvP map out of just about anything you want.

Survival Mode Vs Creative Mode
Lets be totally honest here: in terms of time investment, building in Survival Mode might become a headache.
Hence, Creative Mode is for those who dont want their time spent unwisely building a simple house with new blocks.
Thats why theres room for everyone in the Minecraft world, but finding the suitable materials in Survival will definitely take you more time.
This leads us to the following statement: Survival Mode is for creating smaller projects, not enormous structures.
But we know you are up to challenges – thats why you are reading this blog post.
So, buckle up, and lets do it.
Its time to unleash your full building potential.

Moria from The Lord of the Rings

Seriously, I think its safe to say we would be way better at building castles in mountains than Lord of the Rings Dwarves were. I mean, they didnt even know how to use diamonds for weapons! Amateurs.
- The concept of plowing a mountain is just amazing
Break The Golden Rule
When you’re desperate, you can break the golden rule of minecraft . Dig three blocks down, and put a block above you that is not sand/gravel. Congrats, you just made the fastest shelter in Minecraft possible. Since you probably don’t have an in-game clock yet, you may want to use a real-world clock to time the night . If you have dirt or stone next to you, you can dig out a couple of blocks there, and place your crafting table and furnace. Sometimes keep the hole in the ground as a base. A torch makes your little hidey hole feel a little less like a tomb.

House On The Side Of A Cliff
Building a house on the cliff is very interesting and rewarding. Since Minecrafts Cave and Cliffs update introduced us to bigger and many more mountains, you can always find a tall mountain with a beautiful view and then start building a house on its side.
However, it is best to be aware that building the house on the side of the mountain can be dangerous if you are doing so in survival mode. You may fall, and if the ground is too low, hit the ground and die.

Bank And Vault Minecraft Build
The vaults of a bank are a unique way to store your items in Minecraft. Build up a bank, and in the back, have an entrance to an underground vault area with your items. What better place to store your gold and diamonds than locked up in an underground Minecraft base?
To make your vault more realistic, secure it with a very strong material. I like to build my bank vaults out of obsidian and have different rooms for different items. If you want to be even more creative, each floor can be locked and only opened from a lever in a secure office.

More Minecraft Building Tips
If youre one who just likes to build and build, then its likely that you play in creative mode which is the way to go if you are into building a whole world, and like to as fast as possible. Heres a few building tips for you:
- Have a picture: If you are trying to build something complex, rather than trying to do it straight from your mind, find a picture online, print it out and keep it next to you as a guide. This can really help with the finer details of whatever it is youre building!
- Keep it organized: If youre OCD like me, then you already do this. Ive seen some pretty sloppy maps built by others, and although it may seem like a masterpiece to them because they likely spent months making it, it was just disorganized and things were just all over. Stick to themes and organize different themes by different areas. Unless you dont care. Its your world, and this is my opinion!
- Have fun: If you are imagining it, build it! Sure, taking on challenges imposed by others can be fun, but whats even better is making whatever you want, just exactly how you want it!
